Honey Teriyaki — Restaurant in Colleyville

This was not the poke bowl experience that I was looking for. Very poor quality ingredients served in Styrofoam to-go containers for the price of a sit-down restaurant. Literally no choices for my poke like what is normally expected, just one bowl with what tasted to be week-old fish and KRAB that was processed so fine that when I mixed up the bowl it disintegrated into whatever sweet syrup they pour over this mess. Most poke bowl spots have the option for leafy greens, when I asked for this what I got was finely chopped, browning iceburg that became part of the soup at the bottom of my container. My friend had a more standard chicken teriyaki, and I could tell it looked dried out from across the table. We both had stomach aches after eating here. The dining area was extremely uninviting, all the utensils and napkins were behind the counter. My wife and I have been eating here once a week since they’ve been open. Everything is great! Today, I got the new chicken teriyaki wrap and it was delicious! The wrap was very fresh and was filled with fried rice, tasty chicken and amazing teriyaki sauce that was made from scratch! (The recipe is from the owner’s mom!) I was surprised that it was only $6.99. My wife had the Beef Broccoli & Gyoza special. It is offered on Monday & Tuesday evenings only and is a really great deal at $14 for the plate. We have never had anything at Honey Teriyaki that we didn’t absolutely love! And the new menu board makes it really easy to help decide...

Ordered on GrubHub, very happy with the food. We spent 8 beautiful years living in Seattle and we have long missed the many teriyaki places there. How wonderful to have one in Colleyville! We ordered a bunch of things so we could try them but the teriyaki chicken is perfect. Our son loved the tempura shrimp. Sushi was decent, will get again. Will def order from here again, probably will call the restaurant to order because they don't have as many sushi options on the delivery apps. Totally worth the drive over here for this...
