The old adage is true - you get what you pay for! Carolyn was lovely and professional but upon completion of the job you're on your own, follow through is non-existent. After a few attempts at trying to resolve a much needed repair on the carpet i was told Mark Brooks would be contacting me but initially i heard nothing at all from him. Ultimately it seems I would need to look to another company and pay for resolution to a job still under warranty but eventually he reluctantly responded!

Further, and obviously unknown to me at the time Mr. Brooks brought a worker who is a known felon into my home which resulted in me being robbed of some of my late mother's jewelry, among various other items as well. I highly recommend thinking twice before hiring Southpark Carpet & Flooring. Sub par at best.

Business 101 - professionalism, decency and class matter. Even after the job has been completed!

Thank you for your recent response however misguided it is, but the fact of the matter is Mr. Brooks initially introduced himself to me as a representative/employee of Southpark (at a later date he also mentioned renting space at your place of business.) He was present for the initial installation and assessment of repairs. He brought thieving subs into my home and it is I who has had to reluctantly come to terms with the unfortunate experience of being robbed, and doing business with Southpark Carpet (and TMP Construction), both less than stellar in my opinion.

I got my floors done in the spring and waited because several months because I wanted to give a fair review. THE GOOD: (1) The LVP floors are lovely and installed well. Very beautiful. (2) The customer service was wonderful. Everyone was pleasant with great attitudes. (3) I didn't have to wait long for my install date. THE BAD: (1) The dust after installation. There was an extra thick layer of dust in one of the bedrooms and a hall closet (the floor wasn't replaced in any bedroom.) I expected dust, but it was awful. The areas that got new floors had less dust in them. The other bedrooms were fine. (2) Lack of care for my belongings. Before they arrived, I moved small items in the kitchen on to the counters. But I forgot to remove the brooms/mops,/etc from the kitchen floor. The installers just piled them on the counters on top of kitchen items. (3) Two of the guys had a big argument among themselves using profanity. (4) My toilet was wobbly afterwards. I had a family member fix it. (5) I take a bit of blame on this one - I forgot to ask for any leftover boxes of the LVP, so whatever was left went back with them.

A family member also got LVP floors done a week or two before me. Same company, but with a different work crew. They took care with her belongings.

I really struggled with whether I should write this review or not. Everyone was so nice. The floors look so good. One of the installers was super professional.

I would use them again as long as the crew...

I have been hesitant about posting a review but I feel the need to do so. When our house was being built, we picked out a nice LVP because we did not want vinyl flooring in our kitchen and we definitely didn’t want carpet in our living room. The flooring was beautiful that we picked out and it looked amazing in our house. Once we moved it, we had some issues with the LVP separating but we found out it was a floor joist causing the issue so the builder had that fixed and Southpark came out to fix the flooring. Everything was good and then separating took place again, and finally after having Southpark come out, they recommended a glue down LVP. As much as I didn’t want the flooring to change, we went with their recommendation. I was not impressed with the installers at all. They got glue on the floor, banged up the doors that they took off the hinges, left my front door open and a ton of flies were in my house. My husband let it go but I should’ve been persistent and made them clean the glue up. Well, here we are and we have a section of LVP coming up. My husband called the store and was waiting for a return call, and I had to call and tell them to tell Gloria that he was upset and she needs to return his call.
