Pure Bouldering is GREAT! I just moved to The Springs and had been trying new climbing gyms to see which one I liked best. I tried CityRock 1st as it's closer to my place. Compared to CityRock, PB is very intimate and personal, which I like better. Plus, it offers everything I need since I don't do any rope climbing. Kegan was very helpful and friendly. Him and I got to chat for a while. I didn't get this with CityRock. It's a great gym with many different style climbing options, but they pretty much send you along your way. I like to get to know the staff and I know you can't achieve that completely after 1 visit, but no staff at CR sought out to chat, ask how I was doing or how I liked the place. I don't need baby sitting, but the friendly feeling just wasn't there like it was at PB.
All in all, PB is a great gym with tons of bouldering problems. In fact, they just expanded to the downstairs area of their building offering even more climbing options and a nice invert wall.
I'll be joining their gym for the long run and will always recommend them for indoor bouldering in...
Read moreIt has a nice kid area even for a 2 year old to try and climb. There is a slide 2 feet off the ground that the kids have to climb to in order to slide down. I think it's a good idea to get kids started learning how to climb and my daughter loved it! For adults, my husband enjoyed it. They have 2 rooms with different difficulty routes and an outdoor ninja warrior obstacle course. They added a lot of things to the ninja warrior course within the last few months and it has a good variety of things. The pricing is pretty reasonable. My husband and daughter climbed for less than $20 but she was free. Still the pricing was more reasonable than other ones we looked into in...
Read moreMy husband and I took our kids to Pure Bouldering yesterday for a birthday party. The kids had a blast! The facility is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. They not only have climbing walls but they also obstacle courses too. I was surprised to find out that they have climbing shoe rentals, where as, other climbing gyms we’ve been to have not provided that option. As someone who works out and weight lifts I thought it was great that they have a weight bench. Next time I bring my kids to play I can get a workout in at the same time. I definitely plan on taking my kids there again and would recommend Pure Bouldering to...
