Tiger Tech — Local services in Columbia Township

We purchased a MacBook from Tiger Tech for our daughter during Summer Welcome. We purchased here because we expected it to be convenient and equal in quality to Best Buy or the Apple store. We purchased a new MacBook Air. They gave us the old models that they were trying to get rid of even though we purchased the "newest" version. Strike 1. We had them install the software. 6 months later we are bringing the MacBook back to them because the software has failed. Strike 2. They don't know why it has failed, but for $100 they will re-install it. The hardware warranty does not cover this. I have used a MacBook Air for 5+ years that I purchased at Best Buy. I have never had any software issues with it. I use a Mac at my office -never had software issues. We use a Mac at home - never had software issues. TigerTech is convenient for students walking around campus...but we will not be making any more...

went to tiger tech at the beginning of the school year because my mac book air wouldn’t charge. they said they could replace the charger port for around $80 so I left my computer there to get it fixed. they called me back saying it would be over $1000 to fix it because there was so much extensive damage & I would be better off getting a new computer. my parents then took it to the apple store in kansas city and they replaced exactly what was broken, the charger port, and it was only $100. not...

I took my 2018 MacBook Pro Touch Bar to tiger tech this week with some water damage. They told me my laptop was done for it and I needed a brand new one. I decided to get a second opinion from the apple certified technicians at Gravity downtown and they said that I could pay to have it all cleaned and dried on the inside for $250. After they cleaned it, it passed all logistical tests. It was not a very good first experience of using tiger tech...
