The Mizzou campus overall is beautiful and well landscaped, especially-well done compared to some other campuses in the region. The columns are iconic for Mizzou and I actually didn't know until recently they exist from a previous building that burned down and were left standing (something alone those lines).

We always park near the columns so we can walk through the campus on the way to basketball or football games. There's some stores and restaurants or cafes...

This is the "Quad" for the MU campus. Surrounded by historic academic buildings and the iconic columns in the center it is the centerpiece of the MU campus. What the Arch is to St Louis, the columns are to Columbia. With a large open field, the quad is a great place for photos and people watching. It's flanked by historic buildings, including the beautiful Jesse Hall where you'll see beautiful stained glass windows and Thomas Jefferson's original headstone.

One of the most favorite places for me. Las time I was here 15 years ago. This time we were able to visit again with the whole family. Amazing memories. Great time. Well tended and neat place great for walking both in the day and in the night time.
