Could just be having a bad day. But the staff was rude and I let it go the first time, but the guy was ranting and unprofessional. So I was going to buy several items and just decided to leave. Be warned if you go, parking is very limited. Like I said hopefully it was just a one time deal, we all have bad days. (UPDATED: After seeing reply STAY AWAY!!! I tried to give the benefit of the doubt, but now I realize that was a mistake. No humility at all! I didn't bend a stack of comics. I barely touched a comic I was going to buy and he went all nuts saying "I give one warning" then "you buy it", then you are "banned from the store". If you felt someone did something be an adult and simply be professional. I am not a teenager, I am a grown man. I have a collection well over a 1000 and sale comics myself and have never had an issue. I tried to give benefit of the doubt, but apparently this is the level of professionalism that you can expect. I go to Comic stores everywhere I travel and HAVE NEVER had an issue. I have gone to Florida, GA, NC, SC, VA, TN, etc. His reply shows the level of professionalism you can expect. So if you want to be insulted and be served by a rude unprofessional person at least you know ahead of time. Wish things would have been different and it was just a case of having a bad day. I will never shop at this store ever again. I had a horrible interaction with the owner. I walked in and told him that all my things were stolen from me. I asked him if I could send him an email of the pictures of unique items to be on the lookout for and to call the cops. His immediate response was, "It would be better if it was printed." Then went back to work and reading out loud what he was doing. So I decided to remind him of some things that I bought from his store. He replied, "That 1 item was 8-9 years ago, what do you want me to do about it?!?" I thought to myself did you not listen to what I said at the beginning? So I said it again that everything that I owned was stolen and just to call the cops if someone tries to trade it in. He finally gave me an email address and I thanked him. While walking out in a sarcastic and annoyed voice, he yells "Well good luck with that!" All the other stores that I visited such as Scratch n Spin, 2nd and Charles, Heroes & Dragons and Firefly were pleasant experiences and expressed they would help. I will blacklist and tell everyone to never shop here! I will make sure I go out of my way to tell people this when they ask for my opinion on Comic book places...

I had my son take nine comics into this store for me last October to be graded. They were entrusted to Greg. Since then, we’ve gotten the grade for one of the nine. However, we haven’t heard from Greg since April despite too many calls and texts to count. Not only do I not know how much the comics are worth, I have no idea where they even are. So that is why I’m posting here to possibly get some answers. At this point, I just want them back.

UPDATE: I finally heard back from Greg, but only after posting my initial review. He gave me back some of my comics and some of the money owed. However, he still owes me a substantial amount of money. Which he acknowledged in more than one text message, and stated that he would, “give me the balance of what I owe you no later than November 1st”. Well here we are November 8th. I don’t have the balance of what I’m owed, and Greg has gone ghost. No longer responding to my efforts to reach him. Who knows if I ever will.

It would be too easy to go on a rant about this guy who works for/with Cosmic Rays, but I’m only stating facts. However, I will say that integrity is not a word that I associate with him or this place...
