Before I even stepped foot inside the building, I was met with a pleasant surprise—one of your team members, Aalaysha, greeted me outside with a smile and the kind of warm energy that instantly sets the tone for a great experience. That alone made me pause and appreciate the fact that someone was actually taking the time to acknowledge customers beyond the counter. That’s rare these days.
Once inside, the service didn’t skip a beat. Tay, the manager on duty, welcomed me and took my order. Let me just say—Tay was outstanding. Professional, kind, and clearly in control of her shift without being overbearing. You can tell when someone leads with grace and intention, and that kind of leadership is the reason everything else ran so smoothly.
Then came Tearra, who brought out my food. Not only did she make sure my order was complete, she double-checked to ensure I had everything I needed—including syrup, which so many places tend to forget. It might seem like a small thing, but it’s those little touches that show attention to detail and genuine care for the customer experience.
And let’s talk about the food—hot, fresh, and out within minutes. No long wait. No confusion. No eye-rolls or attitudes. Just excellent service paired with quality food. In the fast-food world, that’s not just rare—it’s a blessing.
In an era where decent customer service feels like a lost art, your team knocked it out the park. I left feeling appreciated, respected, and full. I’ll absolutely be back, and best believe I’ll be telling others to come through too. Y’all earned that word-of-mouth.

The cashier was super friendly and helpful. Everyone was super nice and very accommodating to my picky taste. Idk if y'all know this but they're open 24/7 even for dine in! The food was at my table before u even finished making my drink (sweet tea like mama used to make so amazing plus they got that good ice). I ordered my free signature Whataburger #1 and I took off the pickles and tomatoes added cheese and AVOCADO!!! Yes. $1.80 total. Open 24/7 y'all!! I also added a small fry to supplement the coupon for the free burger which was only around $2.50. Although thin "shoestring" fries, they had actual flavor and just enough salt. I was given free Whataburger sauce and ranch upon request formy fries. The sauce was amazing as well. The fries didn't need much of anything to be great! Back to the burger. All fresh ingredients real onion smashed avocado so delicious and huge huge huge. I ended up eating for less than 5 bucks ( that's with the free burger deal) just download the app and they send u a text or email within a few moments. Read moreAs a whole, I love Whataburger. I’m good for at least 5 meals a week since the franchise came to the Carolinas. Nothing better than a #1 cheese combo for breakfast!
But….. this is the ONLY location I’ve been to ( twice ) in the Carolinas since they’ve opened here that I can say the service experience has been poor, at best.
Exceptionally long waits. Wrong food orders. Charged for wrong order. No condiments. The food has always been great. The service - nope.
The Operating Partner, Josue Adame quickly responded from my first receipt QR code survey and apologized with a free burger. Thank you. I had hoped my second experience would be better. It was worse. Wrong order and charged for extra meal. Easier to pay and move on. The line was backed up behind me over 15 minutes for a “simple” #1 and #2 combo order but they added another meal.
From that QR code survey Josue reached out again asking me for more detail of which I had already done so at length in my survey. I did it again. No reply after.
THIS location I’ll try to avoid. But, I do love my Whataburger so I’ll just have to drive further to another location...
