I have been going here for my prescriptions for years and used to never have an issue slowly the customer service has gotten worse first it started with lines being longer, wait times longer through the drive-through and when you attempted to call. They used to have two drive through drop off and pick up lines but because of constant issues with the Farlane they have shut it down it is only for drop off now which makes the line even longer. All of those issues were fine I could've dealt with them but last night after my husband got off work I had told him to drop our sons prescription off to get it filled I did not think to say anything to him about it until this morning and I said where is the new prescription and he said they would not give it to me until the 18th and I said why it's a new strength he said I don't know that's just what they told me so I called the store to find out and I was told by a pharmacy technician that the pharmacist did not want to fill it because "he was afraid I would mix the doses up" so my sons medication was not Filled due to insurance but because this Particular pharmacist felt he needed to Measure my competence!!! I am the one that took my son back to the doctor because I wanted the dosage LOWERED due to how he was struggling with it. If this particular pharmacist would have taken a few extra minutes to review my son's medication history he would have seen how inconsistent the fillings were due to the fact that my son does not take his medicine over the summer at all so we keep his medicine for longer periods of time because of this. we never fill it at the same time simply because we always have more than we need. I'm completely aware that this is a controlled substance that my son takes and I feel like we were wrongly judged and it had nothing to do with whether or not we were competent enough to give him the correct dosage but more so whether or not he thought we were being trustworthy with the medication. I Also feel that if I am competent enough to take my son to the doctor and take it upon myself to raise up my concerns with his current dosage and request that it be lowered that I would be competent enough to make sure I gave him the correct dosage after my request for a lower one was granted. Read moreMy first initial impression is already skewed due to the lack of common sense from another Walgreens however, I attempted to keep an open mind. The pharmacist I initially spoke with was so sweet and so helpful. Very personable and is the ONLY reason I gave three stars. She tried her very best to assist. However, because of all this glorious transitioning there was once again another issue with our insurance that we've had now for three years. I am asked to wait a moment, that they will have to call our insurance. So I wait. And then go to ask at the window. This time I am greeted with Kelsea M who is incapable of shutting up long enough to listen to the customer speak and tried to tell me my prescription was being worked on and would be $35+. I said no ma'am. It will not I am trying to ask about the issue with the insurance. Again cuts me off, and talks over me to the point that I am ready to go across the counter. So when she finally shuts up long enough and stops interrupting she goes and asks someone and comes back to tell me the new total of $5 and change and that they are working on it. Read moreWhen I say I will NEVER go to this pharmacy again I do mean NEVER!!!! Normally I go to the one on Nashville Hwy and always get excellent customer service....I was leaving the hospital late last night stop at this one because the one I normally go to was closed...The pharmacist was by far one of the rudest i don't care about you individuals that I have ever came in contact with in his field...I had some trouble with my insurance so I called back and spoke with him on if there may be a way I could get a discount on my prescription....This man acted as if he had no type of knowledge on this and really let me know he could care less about what I had going on....The guy was so rude that I went all the way back to Walgreens picked up my prescriptions waited to the other Walgreens opened today and went there....The pharmacist at the other Walgreens was so Awesome he helped me and found out I had prescription coverage and I got a 67 dollar prescription for 3 dollars!!!! I will Never understand what would make a person in this field be so rude,hateful,ugly and uncaring for others....I will NEVER deal with this store again strictly because of the pharmacist awful behavior!!!Find another job please!!!I will definitely be calling...
