Worst internet ever. You pay for 1g and only get 5-100 Mbps causes constant buffering, blurry tv, internet lag, cannot use VoIP, download very slow and all they say is "reset your modem" that does not work and sometimes slows down further. But you can bet that the Spectrum ads will play and tell you how good they are then you get another network error Update: nearly a year later, same garbage, dont even expect to see the high point of any sporting event, at the most important time of the game/race the signal drops to nothing, you get buffering, pixelating, freezing, blank screen or the ole standard apology screen "were sorry something did not work right" and IF you can get through to customer service they get into your system and seem to have way too much access to what you are watching and what is connected to your network. After they probe your viewing history they tell you to reboot your modem and router. Rest assured the Spectrum commercial that tells you how great they are (funny you only see these on spectrum channels) is all nice and clear, then they raise your rates (1g internet still sucks slow speeds) Hey Spectrum fix the problem and stop flipping the throttle switch and then trying to get me to upgrade, piss poor marketing tactics Response update... REALLY you want customers to go to Facebook to resolve issues with spectrum service...and the spectrum.net site or my spectrum is horrible because you use the stupid autobot that you rarely get a real person, and now you not wants me to go to Facebook. That is the problem with spectrum, you get all kinds of offers and promises but once you are hooked, spectrum does not give a flip about customer because they know there aren't many options and if you do leave.....so what there are 10 more waiting to pay for your garbage. Since my service has been crap for over a year and you won't even bother to turn up the speed I pay for, I can only hope someone reads these reviews before they commit to the non caring company spectrum is. As I type this review... Spectrum is buffering and post probably won't go out because my wifi/Internet signal just bottomed out,, that's what happens on Friday afternoon through the weekend
Additional info... Spectrum lies to customers...what you pay is not what is listed on commercial or website. The "promo codes" show on you bill for fluff, they are not existent. Pat nearly $100 for internet AND additional for 1g because the service sucks. I still only get 35 mbps even with paying the enormous internet charge PLUS the 1g service. When the promo runs out, what will the extortion be then spectrum? Oh yea, customer service....does not exist unless you want to get into an argument with an auto bot that ask stupid questions that are completely irrelevant to what your issue is
Additional info: Spectrum lying again, internet goes out nearly every night (late night) and after customer service states "we are working hard to restore" I get an email that service disruption due to severe weather in my area....clear skys for 500 miles, if that is severe weather then there will be no Internet at all when April showers show up. It is a shame that spectrum has a near monopoly in this area, they don't care if you complain, the only thing that gets you is a higher bill next month..oh yea, don't let the advertising fool you, bill goes up every month,...

Read moreService so amazingly poor that they make AT&T and Comcast look good. My service was installed over 4 weeks ago, but after multiple phone calls and complaints, I still have a nice bright orange cable running through my yard awaiting burial. Not only is the pricing ridiculously high, but the cable box lists each channel several times as a regular broadcast, standard definition and high definition, so while it looks like you might be getting 300 channels, you are only getting 100 channels, with each one listed 3 times. For a hard wired cable connection, the picture quality is also far less than what I experienced with DirecTV and oddly enough, with more outages than the satellite. The service is so terrible, I wouldn't even recommend it for people that...
