We visit this place when we want a bang for our buck! Upon arriving service is always fast. If you do the hibachi option which we always do you choose from a regular bowl or large. Your starch options are white rice, fried rice, and noodles. You put you gloves on and first start with your protein. Options are Korean BBQ, Pork, Cajun chicken, chicken, beef, shrimp, bacon, calamari, tofu, and ham. Veggie options are broccoli, mushrooms, onions, peppers, baby corn, black beans, and bean sprouts. You get to choose your sauces next! Stir fry, bourbon, soy, teriyaki, Szechuan, and orange sauce are all options plus many more. If you like it spicy the do have chilli’s to add to it. This is such a great option for us because you can have it your way. Everyone likes being creative and adding what they love. I love my protein so I load up on that. We always have leftovers. It is super affordable. Now I will say their sushi absolutely sucks. Made the mistake of ordering that one time never again. If you stick to the hibachi you will not regret it. Would certainly recommend for a family on a budget, for great food, and for picky eaters. After tax and tip my family of 3 never...
Read moreThis was my first time at a Mongolian grill so I was a bit confused on how it worked but the waitress explained everything. They bring you a paper and you mark the grain that you want. I believe the options were brown rice, chicken fried rice, and lo mein. I chose lo mein. Then they bring you a bowl that you take up to the buffet style grill and you will choose a protein. By protein they mean meat and since I don't eat meat I skipped this step. I did glance over the meat and it's just chopped chicken and beef and I don't remember if there was other meat, but maybe shrimp. Then you will choose whatever veggies you want. There was peppers, onions, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, pineapple 🍍 sprouts, black beans, corn, and other things that I can't quite remember, then you pick your sauce and put it in a little cup and you put your bowl, sauce, and ticket on the counter and the really attractive chef stands back there and makes magic on the grill. When its done the waitress will bring it to you. I also ordered some veggie roll sushi to go with my meal and it was...
Read moreI really like this spot for Columbia. They have definitely grown a lot since they first opened. This is kind of a staple for my friends and I. They have lunch or dinner bowls where you pick white rice, fried rice, or low mein, (or a combo, or even none if you can't eat them, we have a friend with a TON of allergies that occasionally goes, and this spot is perfect for her), and then you can pick your specific meats, veggies, and sauces in the quantity you would like, so it's really fun to kind of play with the ingredients and spices to figure out what suits you best. Whenever I have a friend come into town we head here. 10/10 would recommend.
Their sushi is pretty nice, you can get this sushi combo at lunch and it is either 2 whole rolls or 3 whole rolls for a much cheaper price. I personally have used this option to try a few rolls that I was previously unfamiliar with.
Overall, the atmosphere is pretty nice, and I will continue to return. There are still a few things on the menu I can't...
