We were planning a retro antique thrift trip to York but came across this place. And thought it was going be a great stop before we get to York. We come from the reading area and it was a hot one but we were like a old movie theater made into antique place we gotta stop. I believe they just recently open in February recently and seems like they are still setting up and settling in but it was amazing set up and really enjoyed it.
We are both geeky retro monster guys. And we came across some awesome Godzilla, Ultraman and some great anime plus some really cool retro housewares and pop culture items. It was just massive with stands just so much to look at. It was super exciting to see the different themed stands and the prices were all very cheap which is nice. And the interaction we did have with the staff they seemed very nice. And to go with the theme of the thearter we got a small popcorn bag to put items in we bought.
The only reason for 4 star rating is because I wish they would have more history of the place put somewhere. Showing old pictures or at least a brief history of the place. I think it would definitely help it more be tourist destination to check out. The bones of thearter can still be seen if you look around and the architecture of the place. And like I said it's a new place and they are just working on it but would love to see if they could add that in the future possibly.
Besides that it's definitely chef kisses amazing to check out. And will definitely come back for many of the treasures they house and to check out the old bones of the thearter that it once was. Check it out if you like retro pop culture, giant monster, retro toys, tiki items, and so much more. I wish them the best and looking forward to visiting much more in the future. And hopefully they can give some more love to past of the place. Thanks for opening amazing for geeky monster people...

They have a great selection of vintage home items mixed with toys, art and collectibles. The building is beautiful and the stalls are organized and decorated really well. Some sections feel like a museum, in the best way. The staff/owners were really nice, too! Street parking was really easy and itās not super far...
