The Linen Duck — Local services in Columbia

I have shopped here on several occasions to support local business. As a business owner myself in several states and an interior designer for commercial spaces, I have always enjoyed coming here until my last experience here. I saw a beautiful goose down filled Chanel pillow that I really wanted...it was $465 so I decided to wait and ask my husband for it for Valentine's day. He went back and purchased it. Its now June and I noticed a rip at the seam and because its an overfilled pillow that sits right in the middle of my bed, its noticeable. I called the store to let them know and ask what to do? They gave me a number to someone at the store and said to text them and send pictures which I did. I didn't hear back for over a week so I reached out via text again. The person I text stated they called the manufacturer and heard nothing back. A week later, I called again...still nothing so I suggested they refund me and I'd take it elsewhere to fix. The person, who I assume is the owner, told me she wouldn't refund me anything, nor would she fix it and that I need to call the manufacturer myself. I was appalled. If the pillow was $50-100 I'd probably understand but an almost $500 pillow????Terrible customer service is an understatement. They've lost a customer in me because there are alot of other home decor stores in the area that treat their customers kindly first and foremost.
