Please go somewhere else where your business is appreciated it. I had the worst experience with BRET YUTSY. He was the manager at the time. I learned I was placed on the Do not rent list for sending someone (my ex husband) to return my rental car after finding out I had Covid. I tried to explain this, I offered to show my covid positive results that match the dates of the rental but BRET wouldn’t even care to see. Anyways, I had prepaid for the rental through a third party, I had to call and cancelled. Next thing, my husband goes in to get a rental, he’s greeted and processed by the nice ladies at the counter, when we go upstairs now Mr. YUTSY informs us that my husband can’t rent and is being placed in the do not rent list because his association with me. I numerous times tried to reason with Mr. YUTSY instead he decides to close the window on us and call airport security. Officer Ford at the CMH police mediates but Mr YUTSY is not willing to rent to my husband who was nothing to do w the issue I had months ago and landed me in the do not rent list and now for unknown reasons my husband is also being placed in the Do not rent list. Anyways, we leave to go get a rental somewhere else. We call the 3rd party to get our money back since both rentals were prepaid and we are told that Alamo has confirmed that my husband has picked up the rental. While having the third party (Priceline) on the line we go upstairs to inform to Mr YUTSY and ask him to speak to the rep, he again turns his back and calls the police again. A lady at the counter stars screaming at me saying that I need to leave while I explained her that I don’t want to be there but I need them to confirm that the rental was not picked up. The lady (who was inside the booth w mr yutsy) screams to the Priceline rep but fails to provide her name and throws my phone to me. The police arrives and luckily the Priceline rep tells me they were able to confirm the car was not picked up and we will be refunded. Please avoid going here. Unfortunately the place is rotten because of people...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of renting a vehicle from Alamo Car Rental, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the entire experience. From the moment I landed at the airport to the return of the vehicle, every step of the process was seamless, efficient, and pleasant. Booking Process The reservation process was incredibly user-friendly. Alamo's website offered clear options, upfront pricing, and no hidden fees. I especially appreciated the flexibility in modifying or canceling the reservation without penalty, which is a huge plus in uncertain travel times. Customer Service Upon arrival, the staff at the rental counter were courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. I was greeted with a smile, and they quickly found my reservation. They even offered a complimentary upgrade due to the car class I had selected being unavailable — talk about customer care! Vehicle Condition The car itself was immaculate. It looked brand-new, was freshly cleaned, and had a full tank of gas. It performed beautifully throughout the trip — no mechanical issues, smooth driving, and excellent fuel efficiency. All safety features and tech (Bluetooth, GPS, backup camera) worked flawlessly. Return Process Returning the car was just as easy. The signage for returns was clear at the airport location, and an Alamo associate was there immediately to check the vehicle in. The entire return process took less than 5 minutes. I received my receipt by email almost instantly. Overall Impressions Alamo has won me over with their professionalism, transparency, and attention to detail. It’s refreshing to deal with a rental company that genuinely values its customers. I’ll absolutely be choosing Alamo for all future rentals and would confidently recommend them to friends, family, and...
Read moreI am so incredibly disappointed in this company. My fiance and I rented a car from 11/30/17 to 12/3/2017. When we got to our car, we walked around it and took pictures of any existing dents and scratches we could find in the dim lighting. Everything seemed to go fairly smooth when dropping the car off. However, yesterday, an entire month after returning the car, I receive a missed call from Enterprise. I thought maybe it was a sales call so I did not call back. Today I received a voicemail from Alamo. I called them back almost immediately. I spoke with Leticia who works for Alamo out of Oklahoma. She proceeds to tell me that the car we rented has damage (one month later?!).
I told her about the dents and scratches on the car that we took pictures of before leaving their garage and also informed her that no damage occurred to the vehicle while we had it. She proceeded to tell me that it "might not have been us", but they would need to "investigate". I told her they should know exactly who is responsible for the damage as the car should be checked for damage upon every single return. Her response was "sometimes they get busy and can't check every time". I proceeded to tell her I should not be the one to pay for their negligence as it is their responsibility to check the vehicles for damage every time it is returned. I also informed her that I will certainly be contacting our attorney if Alamo tries to charge us for any damages. This is a nightmare. I will never rent...
