HMS Host American Craft Tavern — Restaurant in Columbus

I fly multiple times a year, international & domestic…I’ve been served at multiple airports, states, & countries…I have never seen the hustle & urgency that Ashley consistently had while I was sitting at the bar for over an hour. There are so many bartenders/waitresses across the US in airports that are so slow at serving you, or even acknowledging you, it’s sad. Ashely immediately acknowledges everyone that walks up even in the middle of making drinks or serving. I was on my way to Killeen Texas and i stopped in to Land Grant for a beer before my flight and the bartender Kelany was on point! Kelany asked where i was headed and really made the start of my vacation great. My plane actually ended up having issues so everybody had to get off the plane..so we had to board a new one hour later. So of course i went back and had a beer and a vodka tonic! I’ve always ordered a glass of wine while waiting for a flight here and service has been acceptable. Today it was horrendous. I sat at a table, snapped the QR code and the app was glitching so I couldn’t order. Then I went to the bar and tried to order there. A woman told me she’d “get one of her girls” to wait on me. I waited ten minutes while three of them chatted right in front of me and they never acknowledged I was there. Oh well, it saved me from spending $19 on a $6 glass of wine....
