Late morning flight with about 15-20 minutes before boarding. It’s a Southwest flight and I’m in the A1-15 group and I don’t want to be late. (Plus I’ve paid extra to be in this group.) I arrive at Donatos and ask if any pizzas will be ready soon. “Cheese and Pepperoni are coming out of the oven now.” “Great, I’ll have a pepperoni.”
I check out and move to the side to wait for my pizza. The next customer comes up, orders a pepperoni pizza. The cashier turns around, checks the pizzas that just got put in the window, grabs a pepperoni pizza, and gives it to the lady. Next customer...gets a cheese.
After standing, hovering next to the cashier, I ask where my pizza is. Remember it’s just coming from the oven. “Oh, there’s no pepperoni pizzas ready”
“So you just gave my pizza to that lady that ordered after me”
“Ahhh, yeah. Let me go check.” She comes back, “it will be 30 seconds.”
After a few minutes the cashier go to the back, grabs a pizza and drink, comes out of the kitchen, and goes on break. Not even joking, she goes on break. I have no doubt it was a pepperoni pizza just to spite me.
After a total of 15 minutes I ask the new cashier where my pizza is and she’s got no idea I’m even waiting for a pizza. She goes to the kitchen and I can see her making a fresh pie. She comes back and says, ”it will be a few minutes, I just put it in the oven, I don’t know what happened.”
I grabbed a cheese pizza that was ready while cursing under my breath and went to wait in line to board my flight.

Gave us 2 Italian salads. And both had tiny pieces of ham ( I saw , literally 4 pieces on both). Called to tell them; was on for 13 minutes before being hung up on. Husband took them back. Was told we wasn’t getting the bacon bits we paid extra for because they were closing and didn’t want to make it. We also did not get our money returned! It may be a small amount to pay, but it becomes the principle. Don’t take our money, give us the wrong items, forget to add what we ordered extra, have to drive there 2x because you didn’t get it right, all to tell us what we will get or not get!...
Read moreI love donatos pizza. That said, the donatos in concourse C regularly frustrates me. Although they’re allegedly open until 6pm, the past three times I’ve flown in and out they’ve been closed, or closed right as I walked in. In addition, the staff there are strangely rude, yelling frustratedly at customers walking in that they’re closed (even though the doors are open), instead of just informing them politely. Perhaps a big “closed” sign from corporate could help potential customers out, as well as prevent the employees from taking their frustration out on said customers.
