I had my pedicure done in that place for the first time and I liked the experience because of one of their friendly staff (the lady with curly hair). I came back today with my sister. I couldn’t believe my eyes and ears when I asked for a service and they gave me something else. It seems like some of their staff members have problems understanding. I asked for a manicure and a pedicure. She started cut off my nails which I spent weeks to have them grow and look like an acrylic nail. I was very upset and I am still upset. She did my nails with so much rush and disgust( I couldn’t see her face but her facial expressions could tell). Furthermore, she spoke another language with her peer next to me since she was busy doing my sister’s nails. I knew for a fact that she was talking about me. It was very rude of them to talk of someone in another language while that same person is standing next or in front of you. When she was finally done with me she did a ugly tone of nails polish on my nails and asked me if I were satisfied with a certain audacity. The guy who were busy with my toenails could not even do it properly. He ended up doing a nasty tone as well with it. Overall, I watched them taking care of other customers and how they looked, smiling, talking to them, while I was treated so poorly with their hospitality. I thought it was racism at first, but other black ladies came and received better and even good services than mine. I was so upset that one their staff member ( that same lady with the curly hair) came to me and offered to get my ingrown nails from my toes removed by the owner (who is the kindest person btw). At the end, my sister was satisfied but not me. I ended up paying and got refused to get a discount for all of those issues. I will not recommend that place to go if certain staff members are hostiles to certain customers, not listen to them when they asked for more informations about that service. I don’t often write reviews, but my experience here was so poor that I felt I needed to. My friend and I made appointments at 6:30 and arrived on time. One other girl was waiting, as well. They got started on my friend after waiting for 5 minutes, but they didn’t start on my nails until over 30 minutes after my appointment time. The other customer waited all this time, as well. Come to find out, the reason myself and the other customer had to wait so long was because the technician was busy doing the nails of another employee rather than prioritizing their customers. So unprofessional. One of the employee’s child was running around and playing throughout the salon, while the employees yelled at him across the room. Normally, I would not even complain about something like that, because I do emphasize with the difficulties and costs of having child care… but if you are looking for a relaxing experience and to get pampered, this is absolutely not the place. Lastly, and most importantly, the quality of my nails is horrible. Less than 24 hours later, I had a chip in one of my nails and paint rubbing off on two others… so disappointing considering I paid $75 before tip for an acrylic balance with gel polish. Nothing special, no design, just plain gel color. I’ve never spent that much on my nails for a basic gel acrylic fill. I couldn’t believe it when she told me the total!! I never go out of my way to write a review like this but it feels necessary after the STELLAR experience I had at Bellagio after having a terrible one a few blocks over at Luxe Nails! I came for the first time after being recommended by a friend (who had only been to this business once herself and loved her experience), and am IN LOVE myself! I will most definitely be a returning customer! They are the BEST nails I have ever had! They a thin and smooth, the perfect shape and length—there’s not even one tiny thing to be unhappy about with the result of my nails! I loved that my tech showed me a picture of the nail shapes to confirm because I had actually said round when I really wanted oval! She checked multiple times I was good with the length—she really went above and beyond!
