I used to go here as a little girl with my grandma because she lived right down the street. It was always a fun thing to do since the rest of my family didn’t really like Chinese food too much. But her and I did so we would make it something special. I remember this being the first Chinese restaurant I had ever been to as a little girl so I always liked the food and have no problem with it. I do find it weird however when you go and eat inside the restaurant now, you likely will see nobody else there too. Like, you won’t see customers there eating too. It’s kind of awkward because why would people not come to this restaurant when it’s been there for so long? I’ve never had any problems with the food but it’s nothing special either. I feel like it is basic Chinese cuisine and there’s nothing wrong with that. My partner was really weirded out when there was absolutely nobody in there eating with us in a regular dinner hour so that really put them off and I’m not sure that I’ll go back there with him but I would definitely go back myself. I do some delivery services as well and I do a lot of carry out orders from this restaurant. Because I do so many pick ups as well maybe it’s not the food that people aren’t that interested in but maybe it’s the decor. It is a very large room where you eat and then there’s also a little bar area separated that you can sit at. Employees are usually sitting at that bar waiting for work to be done or you to walk in the door. Employees have always been really nice. When you’re eating in the dining room, sometimes the employees are sitting at the complete other side of the room at a table. When it’s an empty room and an employee is all the way across the room, they could hear your whole conversation and it did feel really awkward. I’m not sure if this is helpful at all kind of just ranting at this point. In conclusion I think the food is good, they do a lot of takeout orders but eating inside is not popular and does feel...

We live in Michigan, and come to Columbus for my specialist medical appointments and procedures. I wish we had a place this good at home!!

This restaurant was recommended by more than one employee from my doctor's office and a couple more from the imaging office. Thank goodness for local recommendations. 🎉

We were amazed and delighted with their phenomenally rapid responsiveness when placing our first order. Their online ordering site is easy to use, and if they have any questions/issues, they call within a few minutes of receiving the order to clarify substitutions, or to advise about any issue with a special request. They made suggestions if we needed to change anything, and they correctly followed special instructions/requests! 🙌

The food was ready promptly, parking options were great, and staff was pleasant and helpful. We were picking up take-out, but the space appeared large and clean, they had a bar, and kept the space at a comfortable temperature. The only thing I would say that may be an issue is it appeared somewhat dark in the dining room. It is highly possible that this was due to having few/no people inside at the times we've made pick-ups, but I wanted to include the information.

All my food from any visit has been sensational!! My husband has only gotten one item he didn't care for, so has just tried other items at each subsequent visit. He has absolutely loved those items! The portions are very generous, making them a great value for the price. They have always gotten our orders correct, so big plus there, as I tend to order things made specifically to my preferences & needs. I wouldn't be at all shocked if you find they do everything they can to resolve your issue if you don't prefer something you've ordered.

Overall, simply a fantastic place to get some great cultural cuisine. If you get a chance give them a try. It's a safe bet...

We ordered delivery a few weeks ago and it was amazing so we thought we’d try dining in for Christmas! We were sat in the back corner away from other tables and traffic, I thought it’d be great and less chance of bothering other diners. We do bring 2 toddlers, order apps, husband orders bar drinks so we ran up a $75 check! Great for the server right? I would have easily tipped $20 on this check for normal service, great service-even more since my kids are messy(even though I clean up after them) and it’s Christmas! With young kids and so many plates we often combine plates quickly to make room to eat and move plates out of the way of grabby hands! Our food was brought out so we quickly combined our remaining appetizers with our food and made small pile of plates we didn’t need anymore. I spent my entire meal trying to keep food off the floor and plates from crashing to the floor. My autistic son often screaming for taking stuff away from him. I finished my first soft drink soon after my meal arrived and really could have used another. No one came back after dropping off our meals! Finally after watching another table with more guests receive service and leave faster than we could even get checked on my husband began trying to wave someone down for about 10 mins. My son was ready to leave by now and so I stood up to hold him for another 5 mins before a server asked if we wanted boxes. We asked for a check. She came back with boxes and a check and walked away to clean another table. Again we couldn’t wait any longer so we found another gentleman who was at a computer to run our check. On the way out I did mention the poor service to the gentleman who sat us and he apologized. I could have enjoyed my meal as well as the other diners around us if someone had just come back to take plates...

Reviewing Ming Flower for their authentic Cantonese (and some American Chinese) dishes... ^_^" This is THE BEST Chinese on this side of town (like if 270 was a clock and North was 12, I'd confidently say 10 to 5 probably?!), but I'm not reviewing General Tso, or Orange Chicken... my husband (Caucasian from NW Ohio) and I had our rehearsal dinner and multiple family gatherings here for over 10 years!! I bring adventurous food lovers here for a taste of some yummy food, and here's what we usually get! I'll list them as how they are on the online menu if anyone wants to try a few dishes... - mustard greens soup - watercress soup - duck meat with bean sprouts - beef hou fun no sauce - Peking ribs - stir fry lot root w.fresh veg (this is slices of crunchy lotus roots and yummy) - baby clam with black bean sauce - walnut shrimp - fu yu tom sum chai (water spinach with spicy bean curd sauce) - sautéed snow pea tips - spicy crispy calamari or chicken wings Special orders we get sometimes: - ginger scallion lobster: we buy and bring fresh lobster - Hong Kong style fried chicken: this takes early ordering of at least a day or two ahead. It's worth it... crispy chicken skin and juicy/tender meat - fried flounder and veggies Attached are a few photos for reference from our last visit..

Being from Houston,TX I’ve had really good Chinese food because well we have a Chinatown and you can pretty much get meal for $10 and it be amazing! But this was me giving Ming Flower a second chance and man how disappointing the food was. Did not finish my orange chicken taste was terrible the vegetable egg roll tasted old. On top of that it looks like they just tossed the fried chicken over the orange sauce and said ehh good enough. I won’t bother wasting another $25 for a meal that is not worth it. I’ve been to a few expensive Chinese restaurants in Chicago and Houston spent $10 more and got served amazing food but this place I will not spend another dime in here food is bland and terrible.

It had been several years since I last dined at this location. This was my go-to spot for Asian food back when I lived nearby. My food during this visit was good, but not as good as I remembered. I don't know if it's that this location's quality has gone downhill, or if other places have upped their games. Regardless, this is still a nice place to get good Chinese food. My dining companion and I had a hard-stop appointment to get to, and our server was very accommodating to ensure we could leave shortly after our food arrived.
