I went in to get my eyebrows waxed for the first time, but I left with burns in my eyelids.

My partner and I were going to a wedding this weekend, and I wanted to look my best. I had never gotten my eyebrows done before, so I was very excited. This salon was recommended to me by my partner, she had just gone recently and had a great experience.

The interior is gorgeous and the staff were super nice. When it was my turn, I was taken to a room with relaxing music, a fireplace, and a comfy bed/chair with rumble mat. My eyebrows were trimmed, waxed, and plucked.

It was quick and easy, and the price was $30. I gave an additional tip and went on my way. I felt great at the end, very excited!

Unfortunately the waxing process left me a burn. At first it didn't look bad, but it was very painful and red, and sadly it continues to be very very painful. While I'm upset I will be attending the wedding with my face marked up, I just hope it doesn't leave a permanent scar.

I had lunch with a friend recently and noticed her eye lashes were looking particularly fantastic. Pretty, full...but very natural. I was shocked when she told me they were extensions! My friend recommended that I visit Lizzy at Citrine. I made an appointment for a week later.

The salon is beautiful. Trendy but warm and friendly. All the staff greeted me and were lovely. When I’m having a bad day, I might just stop by for a chat and a mood boost.

My lashes are super dark and overall not bad. My biggest fear is walking around with big, insane caterpillars for eyelashes. My goal was just to give my existing lashes some extra fullness and oomph. Guys, I’m telling you...Lizzy is a magical eyelash unicorn. She gave me beautiful lashes with just the right amount of “extra”. I got 3 compliments immediately that day while running errands.

The process is a bit long on the first visit so be prepared. It’s not so bad when you’re having out with a fun and hilarious lash artist.

If you are looking for Fanstasy colors, then Haley is your girl! She is THE BEST!!! 🫶🏼 💜 My last couple experiences have been pretty great! The time before last I had the pleasure of getting my hair washed and rinsed by Carsyn… she did such a great job in that bowl that I told her she might have to do it every time!!! 😂 And the way my color turned out from Haley was nothing less than AMAZING!! 💜 My last experience I was made to feel like a queen by Cassie and the esthetician, Chloe. Cassie was able to get me booked in as a last minute switch to be able to get all kinds of facial stuff done. I am not the girliest of girls but it felt great getting all the treatments and getting my eyebrows waxed!!! Overall, I am impressed with the environment, the ambiance, the hospitality, the education, the services, the products, and the overall experience of Citrine Hair + Skin as a whole, but Haley, Carsyn, Cassie, & Chloe have all played a part in enhancing my experiences at Citrine and I am grateful for that!...
