Franklinton Market — Local services in Columbus

Shout out to Franklinton Market today! I needed to break $20 to have exact change for Dodge Pool. Although the Market doesn't accept cash, Ms. R (who was working behind the counter and seemed like the owner) dug into her own purse and found us 8 quarters! We bought some peanuts and I asked her to charge us for the change and a convenience fee and she only tacked on an extra $1. I'm sure Ms. R doesn't want to make it a habit of making change out of her purse, but I so appreciated her community-mindedness and friendliness. Stayed down the street from this place. Walked down here to get some drinks. Locals says it was like one of the only places in town. They did not have much on this store. The lady who worked yesterday was very rude. As she gave me my total I pulled cash out and she told me they do not take cash. She said very rude I have a sign right on the front door. Sorry I missed that. So you refuse to take my AMERICAN CURRENCY. . I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANY ONE. PLACES LIKE THIS ARE WHAT'S WRONG WITH AMERICA RIGHT NOW. NO CASH...

Great little convenience store that has a wide variety of products - notably, a great alcohol selection at very reasonable prices. Easy parking directly in front of the store. And dog friendly with little treats by the door to boot! Love this...
