“Dog friendly” Not a great experience here. One Line has a dog friendly patio, however you have to order inside the cafe. I decided to call and ask how I should order since Columbus has pretty strict rules about allowing dogs inside food establishments. Barista zach mentioned that I should order online (which was also odd because I could have just as easily ordered over the phone). I started my order online, but realized that the sandwich I wanted was slightly more expensive on the toast website than in the cafe. So, I decided to walk in and I let Zach know this. He told me it was okay for me to come in with my dog and place my order. The cashier (I assume he was a manager?) told me that Zach had already mentioned that I had to order online. I explained the situation again, and told him I would just order quickly and go back to the patio. (I should’ve just left at this point but I was hungry lol). Every customer (3 different groups since I arrived) who sat at the patio, were brought their food by the barista in glassware/ plates. My order was brought out in a disposable cup/paper box. I’m not sure if I was treated differently due to having my dog and upsetting the manager for going inside to order. Admittedly the food was fresh, however the treatment left a bad taste in my mouth. Because of this experience I will never support this business again.

There's plenty of reasons to love this place. It's super spacious inside (has a patio, too), cozy, has lots of outlets, natural light, and good WiFi. It was a perfect place for me to plug in and get work done while in town (it was pretty quiet all afternoon). The drink menu has all the coffee shop essentials, plus some more interesting/seasonal options. They serve wines and beers, too, and they're open late; I love a place where I can get a late evening cup of coffee though! My iced oat milk latte was pretty much perfection with quality espresso. I usually keep it simple, but I also tried their PSL; the fall flavors came through, and it definitely beats what you'd get from a typical chain *coughStarbuckscough*. Baked goods (sweet and savory) all looked amazing. The blueberry lemon scone and blueberry cinnamon muffin were both moist, well-balanced, not super sweet, and I'd gladly eat again. The staff here are pretty cool, too. Nothing but thumbs up from me!

I love OLC. I really do. I love their ambients, the way that the place is easy going, the dynamic of you being able to be there to have a talk, to study or work, to be around family. I love the amount of coffee options and I know how the staff knows what they are doing. They are definitely specialists! And I love seeing specialists and good energy people making good coffee. I think the only thing that will always fairly be my complaint is how hot the coffee comes. Not sure if it’s to ensure coffee integrity, or ifs lack of warming the cups first so the coffee can be poured and not being cold from the cold mugs. But it’s one of my favorite places to be. Not to mention this Franklinton one has sooo many food options. I loved it.

Fascinating place; I've lived in Franklinton since 2012, and I've seen a lot, but I would say that I love the change. My friend and I were up early and wanted something to drink. I said, "let's go to Tim Hortons, but I'm not sure because my stomach started to hurt the last time I went there." She suggested looking something up, and I'm telling her that there is nowhere else to go because everyone else around here doesn't have that touch. She googled coffee places nearby, and this place popped up; I'm like, I never heard about this place, and I'm curious to see what it's about. We get there, and I felt like I was in heaven, I'm not sure about her, but that place gave me new life, from the lovely clean, positive environment to the kind staff. We were greeted when we walked in, which is always a plus because you want to be acknowledged as a customer. We stood there looking around and then looking at each other like whatever they're cooking smells good, and it's making me hungry. We only had plans to get something to drink and go on our merry way, but that smell of the food had me in my feelings, and to top it off, the chef came out and hit us with some fun facts about the business and gave some good suggestions, and we were SOLD. I got a BKT, and I don't know what it was about that BKT, but I enjoyed every bite, and I recommend everyone try it out. My friend got something cheesy which I forgot the name because I was too into that BKT, but you get what I'm saying. Thank you, staff, for...

Edit: Came early on a Sunday morning for breakfast ...my favorite spot, the booth in the back corner next to the front window, was taken up by a dude who was clearly not a customer, stuck on his phone plugged into the wall (and eyeballing me a little too hard for comfort as I took the booth next to him, the only other one available). Staff definitely noticed him but didn't say anything. I had planned to sit and read but instead left after finishing breakfast. I could hear his phone even clear on the other side of the cafe when I went to use the restroom.

Original: I've been visiting different coffee shops around the Cbus area just to get a sense of what works for me as a bibliophile ...for me personally, atmosphere is #1 as I always go to sit and read. I came here on a Sunday morning and will definitely be back. Some comments seem to complain that the workers don't engage enough with the customers, but I don't give a crap ...I'm a bookish introvert who goes places for the ambiance, not small talk. They answered my questions and took care of my order ...that's all I need. The music was nice and chill, not distracting in any way. I can say that the view and seating seems to be better up front than on the side, which has a view of only construction at the moment. The bar along the windows with stools is a little low for me to comfortably read and take notes. I will try to come closer to opening time to score one of the tables next to the...
