I was just run out of this Kroger today it's April 26th 2025 they said well they asked me to leave and I was shocked and asked why and they said "what you didn't run out of here yesterday when I tried to talk to you?"I said no I haven't even been here in a week. But I spend tons of money here and you have me mistaken. wish they would have given me the opportunity to go look at the camera for them to show me what I supposedly did but they just forced me to leave. On top of that afterwards I tried to call management six times maybe seven because I know any film from yesterday won't be available long but I was unsuccessful at getting through to anybody. I spend well over $10,000 at Kroger a year it's a little disappointing that I get pulled out in the middle of my shopping in front of everybody and forced to leave when I hadn't done nothing wrong. I understand they have to stop theft but I think if you're going to accuse somebody for doing criminal things the day before and they tell you that your mistake and maybe they should look at how much money you spend there on your plus card and the camera from the day before if you tell them that they're mistaken. In the end even if I don't pay for Walmart plus it'll probably be cheaper than just order everything from Walmart anyway. I go to Kroger cuz it's nice to pick your own vegetables but even if this is resolved by contacting corporate I doubt I'll ever spend money there again. I don't know what happened with that security guard at that store yesterday but I would think it's bad business practice as well as unwanted for them to be falsely accusing people especially when it's a customer who's going to cost them thousands of dollars. Regardless of how it's resolved it's just a really shitty situation to put somebody in! I mean I know people that shop there could still steal but I would think they could look at my plus card and my purchase history and see that I'm almost certainly not stealing when you're spending like hundreds of dollars...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis Kroger has to be one of the worst in Columbus. Not only is it dirty and disgusting.. I donāt even feel safe going in there after 8pm with the kind of people they allow to hang out in the parking lot playing loud music and causing trouble. And security is right outside as if they are hanging out with them!!! This place needs cops on duty. Someone is going to get hurt!!! Tonight I was in and very loud obnoxious guys with loud boom boxes strapped on their shoulders walked around the store blasting profane music while Iām trying to shop. Walked right passed āsecurityā and they said NOTHING to him. Iāve had issues I addressed with this store manager before and she does not seem to care one bit. Expired food. Food packages with holes I find when I get home like rats been eating thru them. I live in this neighborhood and I shouldnāt have to go anywhere else. They are letting hood rats run this Kroger!!!!!! Itās horrible!!!! Who is watching this? Who is watching the cameras? Maybe Iāll just call the cops next time I donāt feel safe in your Kroger!!!! Tonight I got to check out and the line in uscan was halfway thru the store. No other lines open. The hood rat music playing boys making me feel unsafe made me drop my basket and leave. I made no purchase. And went Giant Eagle in German village for a clean, quiet, nicely stocked grocery store staffed with Columbus Police. I feel safe there.. GUESS IāLL JUST GO...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to this store to buy my niece some cold medicine. I bought her some $8 tablets as well as groceries and toiletries. I got home (I live right around the corner) and immediately noticed the box of tablets were empty so I called the store and asked them if I could come back in and exchange them and was told yes, so long as I had my receipt.
So, less than an hour later I came back in with my receipt to exchange the empty box and was accused of stealing the tablets and returning the empty box. It was $8! I didn't want money just the product I paid for. I had just spent nearly $300 on groceries and toiletries less than an hour before and somehow the employees found it appropriate to act this way over an $8 box of homeopathic cold tablets for toddlers. It took me nearly 45 minutes just to finally get an exchange and dirty looks from the suspicious employees.
They had security come to the service desk as well as several other employees all over an $8 box of children's cold medicine. Perhaps you should pay more attention to the people actually stealing things instead of accusing paying customers with receipts of such dubious acts!
Plus, they have a rat issue so bad the health department shut them down and somehow they were open for business less than 24 hours later? I don't think so. I will not be returning to...
