1 star only because 0 isn't possible. Two loving parents went into this facility with a healthy baby only to establish a relationship with a potential pediatrician. Our 10 month old had a rash on his foot that we discovered during the visit. Neither Dr. Olivia Paetz, a resident there, nor her supervising doctor, Dr. White, knew what it was nor seemed bothered by it. We were told to monitor it and come back if it got worse. That was our visit there.
Then we got called by a social worker a few hours later, ordered to go to the ER to have our son examined for potential child abuse. The rash didn't hurt or bother him, but what absolutely traumatized him was the 5 hours at Nationwide Children's ER, the 40 minute, violent drawing of his blood (to clarify, they asked for consent for "blood draw" and what happened was a 40 minute process of a 10month old screaming and crying real tears while pinned down by three healthcare workers at National Children's, and at the end, they put an IV put in my son's arm, so they simply do not understand what informed consent means), and their demand to do "full body" X-rays, despite lack of medical reason for this procedure nor any willingness to speak to our son's former physician in Colorado where we recently moved from. Now, we are expecting CPS worker to visit us this afternoon, and have been dealing with this absolute humiliation.
Two loving parents took their healthy son to see if the doctors there are a good fit. What we got was our son put through hell and pain, us being absolutely devastated, and now our name being tarnished. All because of Dr. Paetz and the lovely team at Nationwide. So if this sounds like an experience you're interested in having, I cannot recommend...
Read moreThis medical facility is a sham, a danger to the neighborhood, and staffed with incompetent and inhumane doctors/staff. They do not understand nor follow informed consent, which is already a breach of ethics. They do not establish trust with their patients because it seems they do not care about their patients.
Waited HOURS in the office to speak to a competent medical professional, and when that individual appeared, they were unable to assist in a meaningful way, deferring to the TRAINING doctor when they should have provided support and direction. Instead, the doctor shrugged and said "never seen that before." That was the full extent of their expertise.
This facility and it's staff is medically unethical, seemingly uneducated (perhaps inexperienced), and does not appear to care about the community it exists in. GO....

My doctor kept insisting i was sexually active when i infact was not. She kept asking why u wanted to a screening for gonorrhea, Or any other stds and why i got on birth control if its not true. (Me being NOT sexually active) i tried to explain that, I was scared because I had been using lots of public restrooms and i really didn't know how stds worked. The birth control was for my awful periods. She did NOT listen, she kept giving me the side eye. I don't remember her name. Overall though, I high...
