To Whom It May Concern,
This message is on behalf of all the loyal customers who have faithfully shopped at your store every Friday—some as resellers, others simply purchasing for themselves. Lately, it has become clear that we are being unfairly targeted, seemingly because of our loyalty. Perhaps someone feels we’re finding items that others can’t, but the truth is, success in a bin store comes down to time, effort, and experience. Whether we’re first or last in line, it all depends on how much time we spend searching, how well we keep our eyes open, and whether we recognize value when we see it. There’s absolutely no way of knowing what you’ll find—it’s all chance.
Yet, for some reason, complaints are being made—whether from upper management or employees—that paint loyal customers as if we’re receiving special privileges. That is completely false. Many of us travel 20, 30, even 60 miles just to shop here. We stand in line with 75 to 100 other people, with no guarantee of finding anything better than anyone else. Some days we walk out with great finds; other days, we find nothing at all but still make purchases.
Loyal customers have gone out of their way to support this store. We’ve picked up fallen items, removed glass and knives from bins to prevent injuries, and even helped new customers learn how the process works. To hear that loyal customers are now being treated unfairly is both disappointing and frustrating. For example, we’ve been overlooked when selecting people for the line, as if that somehow affects what we find. This is a bin store—it’s not Target, it’s not Walmart. It’s every man for himself, but with respect. No one snatches items from someone’s hands, and no one expects to be punished just for occasionally finding good items.
I hesitated to say anything or leave a negative review, but it’s truly disheartening to see a business turn against its most dedicated customers. We have always been kind, respectful, and fair. We’ve never asked for special treatment or favors—we’ve simply supported your business. And yet, we are now being watched, targeted, and treated unfairly for reasons no one understands.
Do better. We have remained loyal to you, and we deserve the same in return.
Sincerely, A...
Read moreI loved this store but I will never return and to anyone who can advise against it I will! Today I was looking at a previously opened bag and they caught my attention even when I explained, after that I was "signed" by the staff and they couldn't take their eyes off me, Every time I turned around they were watching me, then my daughter wanted to grab something to see excitedly and for just resting one hand on the container to take the product because she is shorter and hasn't arrived yet, they immediately forbade her to touch anything. Then a blonde-haired Asian worker rudely and disrespectfully removed a customer just for trying to move a bag a little and see inside, I understand the policy of not opening but don't even try to see or tell the person respectfully no. I have seen complaints and bad reviews about this same person, how can they keep a worker like that? must be fired. Then the same person after the situation with the other client was more upset then, she approached all the clients very rude and arrogant, and in the same way he approached me again and forbade me from breastfeeding my baby inside the store because it made others uncomfortable, how can I leave a place to do something natural like that, in an inclement sun with high temperatures as if it were a crime, and absolutely nothing of my body was visible. Her disrespectful and rude way of saying it felt personal, that she was taking out her anger due to her work or personal frustration and that she was the one who was uncomfortable with the situation. Her attitude is what was really making the others uncomfortable. It is legal to breastfeed in public and what this person did is a discriminatory act and violated my rights and those of my baby. The containers should be cleaner and free of garbage and empty boxes. There we are buying, they are not giving us anything free to have such disrespectful treatment, they made my older daughter and I feel insecure, disrespect and discrimination was what my family and the other customers experienced. I WILL...
Read moreUsed to love this place but the last few times I’ve been here have been pretty bad. I hate leaving 1 star because I truly loved this store. I’ve had a situation with a cashier being really rude to me while I was checking out. She was quite passive aggressive and rude, taking things from my cart and slamming them down without saying a word to me. I figured maybe she had a rough day and ignored it. Other times I’ve had to put stuff back and leave the store because I really had to go the restroom and they have no public restrooms. Which is fine, not everywhere has a public restroom, but is another example of how WYB is anti customer. There have also been instances where they do not let me take the cart outside with items purchased, forcing me to bag everything up, carry it by hand, even if I have to make multiple trips and leave my purchased goods by the door unsupervised for anyone to take while I run my purchased stuff to the car.
Today was the last time I went. It was 25 cent day and there were about 10 bins left for people to look through. The team members had pushed all the bins together and roped off the rest of the store, even while people were actively looking, making the walkways too small for people to walk through with their carts. Many people were trapped, fighting each other, some were elderly and others had children. This was very unsafe and didn’t need to be done as the staff had the entire store to spread out the bins and rope off their new stock. I was trapped in between bins, carts, and people, while looking. It took me a half hour to maneuver my way out of the crowd the STAFF had created. I felt anxious, unsafe. What if an accident happened? I put everything I had chosen to purchase back and will no longer return to this store. They treat their consumers terribly and do not have a monopoly on the bin concept. Try Krazy Bins, goodwill outlet, or google search bin store. No reason to give this...
