America Reclaimed — Local services in Comfort

Sorry for the long story but worth the read. Don't ask them to ship anything. Nice store, was nice people at the time. Would not have purchased anything if I knew they were going to steal my money.

On 3/27/2023 We stopped in and spent $816.64 and was assured they had shipping lined up since we were from out of state. Turned out they didn't have shipping set up. 2 months in they called with shipping information. I approved, the next day or so a lady called and asked to refund the money instead of shipping it since the shipping was so high priced. Refunding the money wasn't my idea. I made sure and texted all communication so I have a record. The Owner, Sarah, texted me some time later that they don't give refunds, again told her refunding wasn't my idea, not sure why an employee called me with an offer to refund and then not tell the Owner. She stated that they already paid the shipping company in advance and now they couldn't get their money back from the shipping company. 5/22/2023 They refunded $383.20 said they were keeping the rest until they receive their refund from the shipping company. I made a point of asking why they are keeping all the uncontested money. On 6/23/2023 they sent a text stating they made a mistake and another refund for $133.44 should hit my account, it never has, again they were keeping $300 for the shipping they say they prepaid. Again the refund wasn't my idea. It's now August (5 months) with no communication and they still have $433.44...

Antique lumber and so much more at America Reclaimed Antique Furniture. I had the pleasure of stopping by America Reclaimed on Saturday March 23rd. I had no idea how large and nice this business was. If you live in San Antonio, Comfort, Boerne, Center Point , Kerrville or anywhere in the Hill Country you need to stop by and visit this location. I was greeted by the owners which were both very nice people and very informed on everything in their store. They took the time to show me around and discuss some antique pieces they have in stock and also some things they can have made for me.

I was also given a tour of their new lounge which is in the back of their main sales room. It is very inviting and comfortable with nice chairs and couches, they had someone playing music too in the lounge. If you are out shopping, dining out, or on a wine tour of the hill country I would recommend stopping by this business and looking around. I also had a chance to play corn hole directly behind their back deck while enjoying a glass of wine and eating chocolate truffles. I have been to numerous antique stores and this one is...

Amazing inventory! They work really hard to keep this place stocked. Some of the greatest tables and doors I've ever seen and prices are reasonable. They have all kinds of antiques. They had a grand opening today for their Longhorn Lounge. They offer live music three or four days a week. The view on the property is really nice off the Longhorn Lounge deck. The outside seating is nice and comfortable. The inside seating I sat at is very plush with seats so soft you take a nice ride down as the seats lose their air. The seats near the piano. I had the chips and salsa with cheese, the cheese was very tasty and not processed tasting like other places. Very nice staff and the owners are always available and conversing with customers. I'll be going back for sure, inventory changes all the time. Lastly, they are only a mile off highway I-10, so it's not a big detour if your just passing by Comfort TX.
