Spotted Deer Coffee Company — Restaurant in Comfort

TLDR: Service is slow and orders are made incorrectly or forgotten. Pricing for food items feels high but they do look delicious.

I’d like to think we just had an unlucky experience here, but I don’t think we will be returning to find out. When we came in we ordered 2 coffees, a quiche, and a breakfast sandwich. To begin, we were given a different type of quiche than we ordered. Then, they gave the person ahead of us my grandmother’s latte instead of the black tea they ordered. I got my drink and then a while later my grandmother got her latte (and on their third try they got the poor lady ahead of us her hot black tea). Then we waited and waited and my sandwich never came. When I went up to the counter I found out they had completely forgotten to make it. Since it had already been 15 minutes just waiting on our coffees and another 5-10 to see if they’d bring my sandwich I just asked for a refund because we didn’t have the time to eat anymore. The girl working the counter replied stating she didn’t know how to do one. I told her I would wait while she asked her coworker or called someone. Then her coworker came over and helped her figure it out. However, they wouldn’t refund it back to my credit card and told me I had to take it cash.
