Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is definitely a sweet tooth’s paradise! Their candy apples are extremely good—super fresh and coated perfectly—and I love that they’ll happily cut them up for you if you prefer smaller bites. Just keep in mind that most items are sold by weight, so it can add up quickly if you’re not careful. They also have a huge variety of chocolates and other goodies that all look delicious and make it hard to choose. The only reason I’m giving this place four stars instead of five is because of the customer service I received from the employee during my visit—it felt a bit rushed and not as friendly as I’d expect from a place that’s all about indulgence and treats. Otherwise, the treats themselves are fantastic and worth a visit!

Although my love for chocolate is undying, the flame is always rekindled every time I go into this store. The delightful smell of gourmet chocolate tickles your nose just as you walk through the door and the chocolate lover inside all of us is immersed into a chocolate heaven. If you have a sweet tooth you will have no problem finding just the right sweet and savory morsel here to satisfy your lust. Also a great place to get gifts and the chocolate is simply divine.

I’ve come here since I was really young and I love the bear! Okay, the chocolates and the goodies inside are tasty and amazing. But the bear takes the cake. I love this bear, he is iconic. They change his outfits and every time I come here I take a picture with him because he is just so ADORABLE.

Mediocre Customer Service!

I went in there in two different occasions to buy strawberries covered in chocolate and both times they told me the wait time would be 40 min for the chocolate to be ready. The first time I went around 6:00 pm and they did not bother to ask how many I was buying. Mind you they had chocolate ready, because there was a staff working with chocolate. I felt that was a bit excessive and left. Second time I went in there around 8:00 pm and they told me the same thing, that it would take 40 min for my order to be ready. I started to ask questions because I didn’t think it was good customer service that they did not have them readily available, and that it was a very long time to wait for them to get done. They told me to call more than 1 hour ahead to order them. I decided to leave empty handed. Then, I called another store and they told me it would take 10-15 min for them to be ready. It just proved that the staff at Citadel were just not...

Don't trust them when you ask them how much are the chocolates. I just asked them how much were the M&M and Orea bark and was told "it depends they can range from $4 to $6". I said ok and ordered them along with other items. I later checked the receipt and they were were like $8 and $10. I asked the girl again about the amounts and she just kind of apologized and said "oh well it depends on the weight". Like WTH then she should have warned me when she was weighting it smh or been honest from the beginning. Like I already thought the $4-$6 was expensive but my kids really wanted the chocolates, but for that real price I for sure wouldn't have...
