After power shopping at the Citadel Outlets, I was on the hunt for something to eat. Having a Citadel Outlets gift card, I peered into several eateries, asking if they accept it as payment. Chipotle accepted the gift card during my previous visit, but I wasn't feeling it that day. After hearing the negative at Lamajoon, Roll It & Pieology, Nibi Pho Bistro stepped up to the plate, literally!

#12 Grilled beef & egg over rice- After reading not so stellar reviews for Nibi's namesake pho, I went with a rice plate, because that's difficult to mess up. The grilled beef was tender, not well done & tough. The over easy egg was slightly runny, yolk oozing over the rice. The spring mix was a welcome sight, over the more commonly used & disgusting iceberg lettuce. The included sauce became dressing and a dip for the beef. The only minor complaint being the rice was undercooked, being a little hard.

Service was good. I was the only customer, and there was minimal wait. Outdoor dining wasn't allowed at the time. Nibi Pho Bistro is located to the left of Lollicup Fresh.

I was looking for a filling, yet flavorful, lunch, purchased with my Citadel Outlets gift card. Nibi Pho Bistro checked all of the above! I actually dug into my food in the car, the smell proving too enticing for me to resist. After having several bites, the commute home seemed excruciatingly long. The WORST walk-in place I’ve ever been to! Young curly-haired guy-cashier doesn’t know his menu but have a very big mouth! Absolutely disrespectful to customers. He took the order, I paid $39,90 and in 10 minutes he said, that he doesn’t have the ingredients to cook our dishes. I asked to give me the refund and he returned only $16,49 and refused to give the receipt so I could check it. I checked online banking and showed him the amount he sent back. He started to argue with me, not even trying to hear me out, constantly disrupting me, keep saying that he returned what supposed to… Then the cook got in to the conversation and shut the “big curly mouth” saying he is wrong. So, the guy just left the register mumbling something indistinctly. The cook tried to return me back the rest of the money by cash and counted wrong amount too. I said that don’t trust them anymore and recalculated, showed him how much he still owes me. He grabbed the money back, added some more, that looked like right, and I left. Eventually, when I checked the amount outside of the place, (coz I was full staying there), I was still short by $10. He either exchanged the $20 bill for $10, or I don’t how that happened… I mean I know, but don’t want to say what I didn’t see and didn’t checked right away. I recently visited Nibi Pho Bistro and had a terrible experience. I ordered the vegan chicken and grilled shrimp soup, but the rice and vegan chicken were mushy and overall not cooked well. The soup dis not taste right either. I tried to eat it, but the taste was awful. When I went up to request a refund, the lady at the counter yelled at me, saying nobody else had complained.

I explained that I had eaten here several times as a kid, but now the food quality was terrible. She yelled at me even more, telling me never to say that. She didn't want to refund me at first until my friend stepped in. She finally agreed to refund me but told me to never show my face there again.

I got my refund and was waiting for my friend to get hers. However, she withheld my friend's refund until I left the restaurant. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Additionally, she is not transparent about prices. They aren't listed on the menu, and she has a sticker blocking the cash register's final price. She also yelled at my friend for having a headache... told her don't make faces! Afrer I left my friend and vomited from eating the bit of food we ate. Overall, I would never recommend this...
