Roll It Sushi & Teriyaki — Restaurant in Commerce

I was walking in the Citadel and saw they sell bento boxes here. I stopped by to order one. It was during lunchtime, so it was packed. The place is tiny and it’s located within the Citadel food court. There is plenty of parking available either at the lot or the structure. The cashier who took my order was nice and patient. It was my first time there so I didn’t know what the bento box will include. She took the time to explain that I had the choice to order the type of sushi roll and meat.

I ordered the chicken bento box which comes with a lot of food. It comes with teriyaki chicken, white rice, salad, edamame, pot stickers, sesame chicken, and your choice of sushi roll. I ordered the California crab roll which has avocado, crab, and cucumber. It does take a while to get your order. I would figure since it’s a lot of food then it will take a while. I wish there was an option to place the order online for quicker pick-up. The bento box has a lot of food and most of it was delicious. The edamame did taste a little weird like hard and old. However, the rest of the food was good. The chicken had good flavor and the sushi rolls tasted fresh. I do want to go back to try their other dishes and...

Just want to point out everyone’s hard work. Thank you for working everyday and trying your best! From the kitchen, cooks, & cashier! Everybody is doing a fabulous job communicating and working together inputting those orders! Despite the pandemic, these workers are trying to make ends meet! I know these hardworking individuals can quit at anytime and if you don’t like how they messed up one small detail then go eat at your mama’s house and complain. Food is good (personally speaking). Coming from Asia, I have low expectation of Sushi places in Western since most of the sushi shop are not as good as in Asia.(some are exceptional, and are even better)

But Roll It just killed me with their crunchy rolls.... the easiest and simplest sushi roll for any Japanese restaurants.

The price is OK for 6.99 for 8 bites. But the taste... and worst is ... just look at the photo, literally almost no tempura flakes on my...
