Concord Lamp & Shade's amazing customer service and expertise completely changed the look and feel of our rental house by helping us design and upgrade the overhead lighting in our office and living room. We were able to customize the shades to match our decor and consult on the measurements of the shade. I used to hate the overhead lighting in our house to the point of never letting my husband turn it on, now I am in love and our lights are on all the time! For a relatively small shop they had so many options and we found exactly what we wanted. We stopped at Concord Lamp & Shade with some lamps we found and little knowledge about lamps/buying shades. We got an education and beautiful shades that we are thrilled with! Excellent experience! We made an appointment to get some help selecting a shade for a special lamp that has been handed down in our family over the years. Our salesperson was very courteous, patient and knowledgeable, with several terrific suggestions that led to the perfect choice, along with an attractive new finial. The price was right, and as a result of the new shade, the room where we put the lamp has taken on a completely new, very special appearance. We could not be happier with the help we received and the shade that we purchased. (Considerable thought had gone into this shop's COVID precautions, and they ended up working very effectively. I have a 40-year old lamp with an odd sized shade. The old silk shade had become really torn and ratty, and, after looking at this lamp for 40 years, I just couldn't bring myself to buy a ready-made shade in the wrong size. Ann at Concord Lamp & Shade offered me options, and we went with refurbishing the shade's original frame and recovering it in similar fabric. I HONESTLY CAN HARDLY TELL THE DIFFERENCE FROM THE ORIGINAL SHADE! Concord's operation is top notch: professional, detailed, and truly custom. I simply could not be happier. It was wonderful dealing with this company. My favorite Waterford lamp shade's inside lining became ripped. The proprietor, Ann Eckert, was a delight and answered my questions and gave me alternatives to replace or reline the shade. She quoted me the prices for both alternatives in a detailed email that explained the work that would be needed to be done.. I choose to reline the lamp shade.

The work was completed and shipped back to me when promised.

I could not be more pleased with the result. It looks like a brand new lamp.
