Food Lion — Local services in Concord

Food lion is without a doubt my favorite store. Here is why: upon entering the carts are facing the customers handle first. This allows easy access to take one without it getting stuck to the others. While shopping any and every employee that passes you by greets you and offers assistance wether you need it or not. Every employee I've ever met has been kind. The prices are very good. You may find an item or two that's cheaper in another store,if so it's not by much. Another great thing that food lion offers that no one else does is it has products for every budget. For example, there are the top brand names,then food lions brand,then the cha ching brand which is super inexpensive. Life is hard,money is tight, I so appreciate that I can still get what I need instead of doing without. Another great quality about food lion is they NEVER make you wait for a cashier!! There may be 1 or 2 people on line ahead of you,the next thing you know someone opens a register just for you! Also,food lion brand items are really good. For example the cookies,any and all kinds, are delicious! ! The sanitary napkins are a great price and are better quality than always brand. All of these reasons are why food lion is truly a pleasure to shop. Keep up...

Just wanted to leave a quick review about the exceptional customer service experience we had at this store. We got a ham for Christmas but barely missed the 35 dollar minimum to qualify for the sale price. We noticed on the receipt and went to grab a couple more items to add then go to customer service for a re-ring. As we stood in line, Wesley came up to ask what we needed, and we explained we missed the 35 dollar minimum. Without hesitation, he said he'll take care of it and refunded us the difference, we didn't even have to buy the couple items we were going to add to meet the minimum. That is great customer service, it's unfortunately rare to experience anymore....

Food lion as a whole is great but as for the one on hwy29 South @ Pitts School Rd I'm not very happy with because the manager tried to double charge me for two bags of Tyson chicken tenders when it plainly stated they were BOGO free and she argued with me and refused to give me the sale price because it rang up differently, even though in the store it was posted clearly in the freezer section. Due to her attitude I just made them refund my money for both bags. I mean what happened to the customer is always rt but in this ordeal I proved my case and I was correct. Other than that I am completely satisfied with food...
