This is an open review regarding a very positive experience my wife and I had at the TARGET store in Concord, NH on December 6th, 2018. Recently, some friends informed us that they had switched their cell phone service to Consumer Cellular and were quite satisfied with the savings they were getting, so we decided to look into it. After researching the Consumer Cellular website and checking their options, I made a list of questions and headed to the store to meet with an associate in person. We arrived at the TARGET store in Concord, NH and went to the electronics department where we met with “MICHAEL F”. I found Michael to be very courteous, pleasant and extremely helpful as he answered my questions and explained all of our options. He was professional, but friendly, well versed in his subject material, and within a short period of time I was convinced that Consumer Cellular would be the best provider for our cell service. He also made sure that we were aware of, and were getting, all applicable discounts (including a $10.00 credit for our friend’s referral) and even took another $5.00 off our purchase because it was my wife’s birthday. We also decided to purchase new phones, and after Michael set up the phones and transferred data, pictures, etc. from our old phones, he helped to familiarize us with the new phone functions, being very patient and understanding with two seniors who are definitely not “tech savvy”. Overall, I could not have been more pleased with the customer service and attention we received at the TARGET store in Concord, NH, and a special thanks to “Michael F”, (who was “on loan” from a store in Maine). He gave the impression he actually cared about customers and treated us like “family”. I consider him an asset to the Target “Team” and hope he will be recognized as...
Read moreI took my 87 year old neighbor shopping at Target today. She can't get out of the house much lately. She was concerned her Target Credit card would expire due to non-use. When she got to the check out with her two items she shyly asked the cashier, Maria, if it was enough to put on her card as the total came to under $10. Maria shrugged and said "why not?" Then at the screen of payment my neighbor, not an avid in person shopper, was met with the question "are you a target circle member?" to which my neighbor replied, "I don't know." to Maria, the cashier. Maria said, "do you have the app on your phone??" My neighbor said "I don't think so" so Maria by-passed the question and my neighbor paid and waited for Maria to ring up my purchases. I dutifully entered my circle number and Maria asked if I wanted to use my balance to which I replied I did and when it came time to pay I asked which button was for credit. Maria said, "put your card in it" I said, "my card is in it, which button is for credit?" to which she replied, "is your card in??" I said "yes, and now it says to enter my PIN and press enter" and Maria said, "then just press enter!" I did and viola the payment went through. Long story long, Maria was very rude to me and my neighbor, making us both feel stupid. I'm 51 BTW and shop at Target a lot. I'm not sure why she was having a bad day and would have asked her if my neighbor wasn't there because she just wanted to get out of there. I know it ain't easy out there but we're a couple of the nice ones and there was no need to be rude to us. I'm not looking to get anyone fired, I just thought Maria should know how she's coming...
Read moreWhat a DUMP. First of all, there are carts left every where by employees, don’t ask me why because they’re clearly not stocking and DEFINITELY not cleaning up any of the areas!!! Every department is a total mess. It’s pretty bad when Walmart is a cleaner store in comparison!!! I used to love shopping here but it’s more of an annoyance. I would have liked to have purchased some planters today but between employees and carts the whole area was blocked. At a peak shopping time no less. Think I’ll pass on this store in the future.
** Update- it’s gotten WORSE! I couldn’t even move through the women’s department because there were carts/uboats everywhere and it was a disgusting mess!!! Photos added - I can NOT believe that store leadership thinks this is acceptable and should be fired IMMEDIATELY.
** Update again and it’s even worse still! Employees are SO RUDE - one nearly ran over my foot with a U-boat entering the store because clearly it was more important for her to try to cut in front of me and be first. I came specifically for an item that the website showed to be in stock… only it wasn’t. Where it should have been had obviously been ravaged by a rabid raccoon because the whole aisle was a mess and guess what I had to move out of the way to even look on the shelves? That’s right, an abandoned U-boat! This store is the most ghetto store I’ve ever been in- like, I would go to Walmart because at this point their stores are NICER. This store is trash and the employees...
