Atmosphere was nice... I was taken back that the music was so quiet that I could only hear the staff talking. I got the feeling the owners hire mostly young kids, so I felt that the restaurant lacked professionalism or urgency. I could have gotten past that if the food or coffee were good. I did have a soup that came out tasting very burnt and at a way higher than a safe temperature to be served, and I heard someone out back ask if it was in the refrigerator, meaning it wasn't fresh and it was microwaved. The staff was really kind to let me swap the kind of soup I ordered, but the one I got was better but nothing I would order again. It made me really sad that when I ordered for here they used paper coffee cups plastic containers. I'm amazed that out of the 7(?) People staffed they do not employ a dishwasher. The staff was really nice and the chips were good... But I will not...
Read moreIt was my first time visiting this bakery. I ordered a coffee and a sandwhich. Service was prompt and polite. This store used almost 100% locally produced goods. The menu is full of unique and delicious options. I had a smoked chipotle sandwich which was excellent. Then I asked if they had some, and I was informed they were out. A kind notice while purchasing the coffee would have perfected the experience, i might have tried one of the fancier drinks instead. Being locally sourced, waiting for a delivery isn't a negative thing, but feeling almost tricked about...
Read moreThis is not a bad review on product or service. Food, Delivery and Service has always been top notch with us. Our company is trying to be more eco friendly and we can no longer deal with all the plastic when we order staff lunches for delivery. When ordering lunch we order anywhere from 20 to 30 Halfsies or wraps with salads, etc. We do find it questionable when a company professes to be "farm to table" but uses plastics in excess. I called today to put in a large order (25 halfsies) and asked to have paper and not plastic and was told on the phone that the huge plastic containers are ALL they use there. So unfortunately, we will no longer be patronizing BAKED! All that plastic going into the oceans, lasting forever, is just not part of our corporate mission/philosophy! We will miss you BAKED, but cannot promote/condone your...
