Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Conroe

Tried to place an order online and the app glitched and wouldn’t move forward, but my husbands card was charged so I called the store to make sure they got it and that it would be on the way. Except I didn’t. Get through on the phone, no one answered it would pick up and hang up. After trying to get through, I said I’ll just drive up there, I live about 15-18 min away depending on traffic….. I got there and they were slammed.. I was patient I tried to explain to the lady at the front what happened, the gentleman (Brian) asked for my name and address and said they had my order.i was very mad about having to get out in the rain, because that’s why we paid the delivery fees to avoid it. I waited 10-15 min at the counter while waiting for someone to just tell me if they had my order and where it was. I explained that I tried to call, he said “ well sorry I don’t have anyone to grab it” when he finally has time to get up to the front I asked for a refund, he explained that the order was out or the driver was out but that they couldn’t refund it until they run the batch at the end of the night.

This is completely unacceptable and it’s 1.5hours after I’ve ordered and no pizza and I left the store without a refund. This is awful customer service and completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I love papa johns. My wife loves dominos. When we moved into this new house, we found out only papa johns is available in our location. I was ecstatic! My wife not so much. Unfortunately, my wife and I have had some issues with this specific store, which makes her want me to start leaving the house to go get carry out from dominos.

The delivery Men/Women are always fantastic, but when it comes to speaking to anyone at the store, it is always a hassle. For example: I just talked my wife into ordering papa johns over going to pick up dominos. I went on the app and ordered our pizzas. After I ordered to pizzas she reminded me we are out of ranch dressing, so I called the store to ask if they could add it to our order. A man answered “Hello..”. After I confirmed I called papa johns, I started explaining the situation, and the man on the phone started speaking to someone else as I was mid sentence. I said, “hello?”. He replied, “yes?” I blew it off, and repeated myself. He told me “oh you ordered online, we can’t mess with that”. So I asked if he could send the delivery guy with a few, and I would pay cash. “Nah if you woulda called in prolly, but you did it on the web.” I replied ok, thank you and he hung up.

Really wish I could give negative stars. Do not use this location for anything. The rudest manager with no cares giving. Ordered pizza online and was given a time of 33 min delivery time. 1 hr past so I called only to be told that the order was delivered and was told they will talk to the driver and will call back. 20 minutes go by no call back so I called again and was told again the order was delivered to the address so I asked to speak to the manager. When the manager got on the phone he asked what I ordered and the address and then he said the order was complete and delivered. I said no its been over 1 1/2 hrs and nothing not even a return phone call. So he said let me call my driver and I will call you back in 10 min and he verified my phone number. 25 min later no call so I called again. I asked straight away to speak to the manager. When the manager got on the phone he said the driver delivered it to the right house but he was going to cancel our order. So I clarified he was refunding our money he said yes I said ok then he hung up. Never once did he offer to remake it, or sorry or nothing. I can't stand people like that. Your a...
