This place is truly amazing! The owner was there on the Saturday that we went and was so thoughtful and made his way around meeting all of the guests! Very clean, very well thought out. The seating area is in the middle and you can see both sides of the play areas. The bathrooms were adorable! With perfect changing stations and lower sinks for smaller kids. The height in the play space is tall enough for parents who have to follow their smaller kiddos. Makes it much easier on the neck and back. We also had some of their snacks and coffee, which were both fantastic. They have little sensory areas throughout as well, magnetic wall, with magnatile and a Lego area in the middle. Every aspect of this place has kids, of all ages, in mind. A little bit of feedback to the owners, the mat at the end of the straight down slide is taller and my little caught their feet a couple of times. I am not sure if this will flatten with time but definitely keep in mind for those with smaller kiddos. The Saturday that we went it was FULL by 11am. Standing room only and absolutely crazy. There is a toddler area that had larger kids (6-8yos) playing with the toys.. this should be for kids under 2-3 ONLY. There were kids RUNNING down and up the slides barefoot, while their parents hung out. The kids literally gave their moms the socks. Like NO. Put your socks on. While they were running down, they almost collided with a smaller kid that was walking across the mat. It was insane. There was a basically naked baby (diaper only) running around. A girl maybe 10, went down the slide (with the mat slightly higher) doing the splits. Which was impressive but I could only see broken legs happening. The trampoline area is precious but no monitoring and while a younger child maybe 2 yo was bouncing another much older child came and double bounced them. The 2 yo went flying.
Another child was eating snacks in the play center - which is gross and messy but also “what if they are choking”, how would anyone know? Parents need to do better.
I would definitely visit again but only once they have some ground rules posted or ironed out. Or are willing to tell the parents that this...
Read moreFirst, the membership price is unbeatable! The area is clean and sanitary as the STAFF are always cleaning. The caramel macchiato from the cafe is to die for. We go 5 days a week before nap time. As I was looking at the hours for today Memorial Day I saw some reviews I found comical. So here’s my parenting lesson for the entitled folks:
Here’s a new facility that is trying to be a safe affordable play place for ALL children . Non-skid socks for kids is recommended. Common sense! Every indoor area where you “must purchase specific socks” are non skid. I appreciate the staff trust my instincts regarding my own child and what socks I bring my child in. Why are adults complaining about the lack of supervision of other adults not supervising their kids? Watch your kids it’s literally on the rules posted on a big sign. It’s inconsiderate of other parents to bring their sick children but illness isn’t always visible so instead of blaming the staff for a child having a runny nose possibly due to allergies ask the parent, it’s their child and it’s their responsibility to do the right thing. Again it’s on the rules. When do parents take responsibility for their own kids? As far as a sticker or wristband that’s completely unnecessary the security measures they have in place are more than adequate. There’s always staff at the front door to ensure the kids have an adult with them. Another thing, don’t let your kid put toys in their mouth again if you’re supervising it is preventable. I put my toddler in gymnastics class and he had some unknown illness that resembled measles that blood tests couldn’t detect at the ER. Viruses are easily transmissible. I enjoy not being micromanaged by staff. So watch your offspring and address your concerns with the parents “in a respectful adult manner”. If older kids are playing in toddler area tell the parent their kid trampled over your toddler. If your demanding more staff to supervise adults not supervising their kids that’s ultimately going to...
Read moreI’ve been to my fair share of indoor play areas for kids, and this one FAR exceeded my expectations. It looked so much smaller in pictures; but there is really a ton of play area. Came on a Saturday, and while it was crowded, it wasn’t overwhelming and my kids didn’t have to wait to play or to access features. Areas where Oh Toodles surpasses other play places: visibility— there’s a whole corridor along the back so you can access your kids and find them no matter where they are; aesthetics — definitely the cutest color theme, and it carries over into the bathrooms, entrance, cafe, etc.; price — especially for the snack/cafe, it is so much better priced than other places that limit bringing outside food; thoughtfulness — from everything from the changing area with diapers in the bathroom, to the height of the play areas (tall enough an average height adult doesn’t have to stoop to walk through!). The toddler area is really great (I have a 2 year old), with plenty to climb on slide down run through). They even have a couple of couches and soft chair seating areas in addition to plenty of tables and chairs, and really functional and stylish high chairs for babies. I love how well thought out everything is, and my kids (2,7,12) ALL had a great time and didn’t want to leave even after hours. Another thing that’s fun that they have that other places don’t - magnetic walls with Magna tiles, and other magnets, and then big wooden troughs with chunky Lego sets. So fun! They even have a water jug and cups you can fill up hot or cold water cups (for bottles, this is amazing). Going to get a...
