I went shopping here Saturday July 13th around 6:30/7pm and the service I saw the associates give to an elderly woman was appalling. As I was checking out in self service I overheard an elderly woman very kindly say "ma'am, ma'am, ma'am" as she was trying to get the attention of the associate and the elderly woman was not being rude or annoying about she was only repeatedly saying ma'am because no one had acknowledged her and when the associate did finally reply she said "Ma'am cant you see I am doing something. Why don't you ask the man (referring to the other associate) for help. He is not doing anything." The way the female associate responded it was very evident she was annoyed with the old lady as she was rude in her response. As I continue to check out I then hear the male associate telling the elderly woman "This register is for card only. That is why when I asked you if you were paying cash or card you should have said cash." Again answering with annoyance which is disappointing because I could tell the elderly woman did not mean to get it wrong she just didn't hear. Plus the elderly sometimes need a little extra patience and guidance. So when the elderly woman pulled out her card to pay I then hear the male associate loudly telling her "Don't shove your card into the pin pad. You need to be gentle with the machine. Don't just jam it in there. Damn!" Meanwhile the female associate is laughing at the elderly in disbelief. The elderly woman collected her items as she was told to go to a different register that accepted cash. She approached me saying " I guess I can't do anything right." And I agree with her, the associates at the store were treating this woman with disrespect and as if she was a bother when really she just didn't understand the check out process. As a former retail associate I understand difficult customers but even so you never let out the customer down especially when the customer was not being disrespectful themselves. Just shameful the way they treated her. I do not know the woman personally but after witnessing such treatment I had to...
Read moreHorrible experience with this locations manager. So I’m going in with my wife right when they open, only to have some heavy set gentleman push his way through right when the doors opened… I let his rudeness go and kept going. I then went to the area where everything is behind the counter and you have to ask for help… While waiting for an employee to help us, I decided to let him go first, even though we both walked up at same time (he seemed impatient) and so I let the employee help him first. I then realized that he was an employee and that he went in specifically to cut everyone else because he knew they just received a bunch of Nintendo switch games. I blew it off still… It wasn’t until he cut me in line at check out that I had had enough. Then I find out he was the manager that came in on his day off (just to grab the good stuff that he knew was there). Employees (especially managers like him) shouldn’t cut in front of everyone in very rude ways simply because they have inside knowledge on what’s been donated. He cut me not once but twice and almost pushed me out of the way just to get his hands on some Nintendo switch games first. He’s a heavy set gentlemen that is clearly only out for himself and not the customers. He should have more integrity and common courtesy. Will never donate here again. The employees clearly take all the goods...
Read moreHighly Unfair Inventory Access and Suspected Collusion We are long-time, regular customers, but the shopping experience here has become fundamentally broken due to a persistent and unfair issue. There is a non-employee individual who loiters in the store—often near the doors or the display case—for approximately 7-8 hours every day. The major problem is that this individual appears to be in collusion with employees. Valuable or limited inventory items are consistently being reserved and sold to him before they ever hit the floor or become available for purchase by the general public. We have witnessed employees interacting with him and immediately handing over items we were actively waiting for. Every time we try to purchase a desired item, it is "already taken" or "reserved" by this individual. It is clear he is receiving advance notice and preferential treatment, making it impossible for regular customers to shop fairly. This practice is frustrating, unethical, and ruins the experience for everyone else. Management needs to conduct an immediate internal review to stop the preferential pre-selling of inventory. Until this collusion is addressed and fair access is restored, serious shoppers should be warned. I added a picture of him waiting by the doors waiting for the inventory. 100% ridiculous to let...
