Cevicheria El Diamante — Restaurant in Paradise

Bruh!!! I was so excited to visit this establishment yesterday because of how delicious the food looks. Now let me say, I gave 2 stars solely because the food was actually good. But, not only are their prices very very steep but these people have no control over how much a person can intoxicate themselves in public with alcohol. This was my first time there with my husband and I had to unfortunately witness a very drunk and sloppy man being lifted from a chair and taken outdoors to wait for a lift. No one would take this man because of the level of intoxication, he ended up falling to the ground in front of the establishment. This man and his family were literally outside of the window next to where my husband and I were dining, at which point we were afraid to turn our heads because what if the man decided to vomit while we were eating.... I was shocked to see how the owners of the stablishment did little to nothing to remove the man from premises and not once offer an apology to the people currently dining in such an awful circumstance. I would also like to point out the irresponsibility of the staff, I'm sure they noticed how intoxicated this man was inside the restaurant and yet continued to bring him more alcohol. I don't care about anyone's madness to be completely honest but I would like to enjoy my meal without worrying if I'm going to see someone vomiting while eating. Absolutely not...

First time coming to this restaurant and to have a bad experience that’s a good start. Checked them online and food looked good so we decided to come here. But when we got here the lady sitting people had an attitude. I was like whatever’s about it. It took like 5 min to get a table not bad. No waiter or waitress approached us for over 20min. I got up to called someone over and a gentleman said to wait because he was helping other people. About 30 minutes later we finally get our drinks. 20 more minutes later still waiting for the waiter/waitress to come take our order. But that time never came. Decided to just pay for my drinks and leave. One thing that I did notice. The workers are so focused on bringing and sitting people in the restaurant than focusing on providing a service. I understand it’s a business and the more clients you bring in the better it is for the business, but don’t forget to give GOOD CUSTOMERS SERVICE to...

We started a bit wrong I pointed out exactly what I wanted. My dish consisted of garlic butter shrimp with the shell on I pointed it out to the server woth my finger and picture. I said no rice no beans. They brought out a traditional plate which I had requested no beans no rice just the salad as in the picture. Then she said you can order something else but you still have to pay for it. But I said it wasn't fair how was I going to eat and order they had made wrong order. But luckily they were very generous and let me order another dish. My point is the server should come like that at us customers especially being on town from California even if I were a resident. I came to this restaurant because I saw it featured by a TikTok follower and I was very excited to try them out but bummed with the treatment for a minute. Don't get me wrong food is delicious.
