I had an Gyro and my wife had the fish wrap. Both came out at the same time nice and hot and the vegetables were still cool and crisp and the meat was steaming until the last bite. My Gyro looked light on the meat but heavy on the vegetables and tzatziki sauce and most places don't give you enough sauce. That's how it looked until I bit into it and found it had more than an adequate amount meat. The meat was seasoned well also which is nice since most gyros made with bland meat. This was also one of the cleanest places I have been to. The man behind the counter personally wiped every table within 2 munites of the guests leaving and he was polite. He even answered my questions about a rug hanging behind the register. He said it's from Afghanistan and it is beautiful, I also noticed that he hung an American flag on the corner of the rug so people would know that he was American for sure (you know how some people are). When the food came it was so delicious that I stood up right there and walked over to the tip jar to show my appreciation and he was quick to thank me for it. Exellent service, Amazing Gyro, nice decor but I do wish they were playing the kitchen music in the dining room it was much more authentic to the theme than the radio station in the dining area. Price was about $12 and change (I think) for 2 wraps and it would have only been $2.50 more each to make them a meal but the Gyro was enough for me and I weigh almost 300 lbs. They will most definitely be seeing me and my money again I loved it. I encourage you to try it for yourself. Just go in and spend the $5.95 on an Gyro or $8.45 for a combo with fries...
Read moreLet's start with the fake pomegranate juice, I drink it a lot and u know how much you dilute the juice. Secondly the kufta is very greasy and the beef cabob is wired tasting. Thirdly I highly recommend that you have a screen showing your charges, I calculated my charges after I left and it should have been $45, but you charged me $51. Steeling from your customers is a bad habit, be honest you will be blessed, lastly, the long face needs to change, when customers come in, have a welcoming face not souwer face. I got to give a compliment on the rice, is very good, the salad tomato and cucumber of yesterday, don't do that, thats horrible, don't you think that your customers know that you are using old food? You eat the old food if you don't want to throw it away, or find a way to keep it fresh. I expected much better for a 4.5 stars but sadly I will give it a total of less than 3. I hope that this review open your eyes and make you a better person, believe me you...
Read moreI was in town on business but like to eat at off strip establishments to enjoy better value for money and support smaller and family owned restaurants. Came here follow a recommendation and since I'm a fan of middle eastern cuisine. Unfortunately left disappointed. I debated with myself whether I should write a review as the business hires non privileged immigrants from Afghanistan. Still, given the high rating and numerous positive reviews for the restaurant this feedback needs to be given. Hopefully the owners will read and adjust accordingly. I wish them luck. I thought if getting the ground beef skewer but after numerous nudges by the man taking my order I followed his direction ordered the dish with two skewers - beef and chicken. The good: affordable friendly staff tasty hummus (highlight of the meal) The bad: overcooked and dry meat both the meat and rice...
