Where's the Guac at??? Can someone put some missing signs up.
This place is one of my favorite spots for a cheat day and I'm running errands. But lately the quality hasn't been what it use to be.
My go to order would be the 5 rolled tacos plate. They would always have a great amount of guac, cheese, sour cream and veggies. But lately it's always extra lettuce covering up what little guac they put on the rolled tacos. It's at the point where they should just say guac is an extra charge because what little is on there mind as well be non existent.
(They also used to have a free hot coffee and small ice cream on Sundays and Mondays but those days are long gone.)
Don't get me wrong, The rolled tacos are still tasty! But start charging extra for the guac that should be on there rather than giving out none! I really wouldnt mind paying the extra dollar or two. There's nothing more disappointing than thinking you are gonna get the guac (especially when it shows guac on the menu pictures and says it comes with it) and none is there. I can't smash an avocado in my car dude!
Gimmie that green creamy...

I went back to get refund, they told me they are awhere of the issue, however the manager is off so they can't replace the food or give a refund, they asked for my receipt. I told them, I told the girl I didn't need copy of receipt. I told them the total price of food and drink was $10.81 with tax. One of the employees recognized me told them not an issue to give the refund. The cashier guy told the other employees s not to remaking the food , that he wouldn't providing refund. It's not worth the hassle. Not worse my time or hassle to be told a lie on there policies but they don't back their word up. I'd be very cautious doing business with them. Not very...
Read moreIt is a 24 hr. Mexican restaurant 10 minutes off the strip. We were looking for some less expensive food after having paid $53 for a pizza at the MGM hotel. It was around 11 p.m. and Don Tortaco looked similar to the food we have in Laredo at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, it was only edible. . stopper here. The Asada burrito tasted like it was made from "Steak-Ums" not fajita. The quesadilla had dry shredded chicken in it. The street tacos had more cilantro and onion than meat. It cured the hunger but didn't satisfy the pallet. The fountain drinks were either just water or partly flat. The Jaimaica juice had a weird flavor and the Sprite came out with black specs. Yum! The tables and chairs were sturdy and clean but did nothing to contribute to the already dull atmosphere. Nothing about the decor said Mexican restaurant. Just another plaza...
