Liars! I recently had to swap out a battery in my wrist watch. After removing the back and replacing the battery (bought from Kroger) i had difficulty with replacing the back cover. I phoned to ask if they could put the back cover on and the gentleman said “sure, bring it in” I asked his name and “how much will you charge me?” He said no charge, then pretended that his phone cut out instead of giving his name. I arrived 20 mins later. The place is dead at 1 pm Wednesday. Girl at counter asked to help me- i mentioned having been directed to bring my watch in-“who did you speak to?” (Kinda weird question off the bat, right?) i said i spoke with a gentleman about it. She asks me to leave the watch overnight and its going to be $20. I protest “thats not what i was told 15 minutes ago!”She gets a guy with a goatee. He acts like he doesn't know anything about it. “There’s only 2 guys here, me and him” (pointing at an older gentleman), “glad to do it but it aint free!, did you buy the battery from us?” (Like that somehow matters??) Iwalk out to my car, get my phone, come BACK in and ask “ is your phone number ........?” He LITERALLY said “ I have no idea what our number is!” Never go back here again to these scammers. My experience with Brooks was a very positive one. The staff I interacted with--Sean and Hunter--were both professional and genuine. I was able to thoroughly discuss what I was looking for in a setting, along with the pros and cons of different side stone mounting methods to achieve the look I wanted. I decided upon an in-house creation and was very satisfied with the final results. Their gemologist, Hunter, was very knowledgeable in his craft and delivered an excellent lesson in not only the technical aspects of diamond grading but also the practical aspects of selecting a diamond that maximizes value without compromising appearance.

What I appreciated most about my experience at Brooks was their professional reaction to my decision to purchase my center stone elsewhere. There did not appear to be a change in the way they treated me as their customer even though I was only purchasing the setting and mounting services from them.

I went to Brooks to shop for engagement rings because of two close friends recommending them highly, not only on service but on knowledge and for not being pushy salesmen like other jewelers can be. I am a guy so prior to going in I had little experience or knowledge of any jewelry at all. Walking in I was helped by Hunter, the co owner and he educated me on everything I needed to know about purchasing a ring. He was extremely helpful and polite in helping me and so several months later, being ready to purchase I went back and worked with them on making a custom ring for my fiance to something similar that she had found online. I showed them what I wanted, gave them the specs and they had created a render in less than 24 hrs for me. I had it tweaked several times and had them cast it after everything looked good. The ring was created in no time and it was exactly what I had asked for and much cheaper than I would have imagined it would have been! The whole process was awesome and they made it enjoyable and fun. I would recommend Brooks to absolutely anybody. They are super nice, professional and they do all the work and sourcing right there.
