We had a big group come in for family pictures and I understand with a lot of people it can be challenging, but the photographer (I believe his name was chuck?) Was too much. He was too controlling of every little aspect of the photo to the point where everyone was over it. Yes, he was the photographer, but usually, at any other old time photo place, you have some say in what you wear and who you would like to stand next to. That was not the case here. It was taking soo long! Lastly, I picked the picture I wanted and said I wanted it in the the original old time photo print. Not the more expensive color print, and didn't realize until after we got home, that he picked the color print option that I didn't pick. Very frustrating. I rarely post reviews if I have a positive experience but this was mediocre at best. First, we were told it would be a 4.5 hour wait and planned our day accordingly. Then we receive a text an hour early and respond within a few minutes and were there within 10 or so. We get to the shop to find the owner double booked our time slot with another family. We then had to wait the additional hour for our photo. Why not just text back and let us know. We had 4 kids eager for a picture. I understand CoVIID times but this was not professional and owner just claimed he was understaffed. The assistant was great and the photos turned out fine but the ridiculous wait needs to be noted. Nothing better than getting great service, a great product, at reasonable prices. Photos turned out great. Arrived early to get our group of 11 a spot and found a motivated young lady excited to work with us to capture us dressed as pirates. She patiently worked well with our children aged 11 months to 11 years. We saw pirate, civil war, cowboy, saloon, and brothel costumes and props. Get there early, as they are a popular spot and they invest their time into making the pictures turn out right. A cost per person for a sitting fee, and then costs for photos.
