BEWARE of this company. I wish I could give no stars, but that is not an option. On June 23rd their online booking system allowed me to reserve and pay in full for a 6 person golf cart for my vacation dates, which happen to be Tuesday - Tuesday. Again it allowed me to select those days of the week. Last Friday they called and said there was a problem and they did not allow during the week deliveries and pick ups. I explained that their system allowed me to reserve it and they had been paid in full 2 months ago. I was told they would have to bring a smaller cart on Sunday in order to make this work. I was not thrilled with it but told the representative that would have to do. At 12:07 am this morning I got a confirmation about my reservation. At 10am this morning I was told they could no longer accommodate my reservation and cancelled it. The day before my vacation this company cancelled my reservation, they did refund the money which of course will take up to 7 business days to show back up in my account, and when I asked about the arrangements I made with their company representative on Friday they completely ghosted me and will not even answer the phone. To break an online contract with a customer 24 hours before their vacation is really not fun. In addition they emailed me that there were no companies in the OBX that rented outside of weekends, just as an FYI I called and there are three other companies that absolutely rent outside of weekend drop off and pick ups and they gladly took my money for a Tuesday - Tuesday vacation. Just so disappointed in how unprofessionally this was handled. I know they do not care about me and my $700 rental but as a small business owner myself I am just very disappointed in how nonchalantly they have handled breaking my contract and offering no assistance to make it better. Again, BEWARE of this company.
Your response is riddled with untruths and flat out lies. Last Friday I spoke with your office, is that when you reached out from my June 23rd reservation to clarify? If so the agreement that was made on the phone was you all would pick up the 6 passenger cart on Sunday and deliver a 4 person cart we could use until Tuesday because it was your systemâs fault that I was allowed to reserve and pay for a Tuesday to Tuesday rental. You are correct, I did not read your website, I logged into you website saw the reserve now option and proceeded with my transaction. I should not have assumed your online system would allow reservations you would not honor. That is completely on you. Not me.    Read moreVery disappointed at our vacation last week. Our 6 person golf cart was delivered with 2 severely bald tires. I ended up driving about 10 houses away from where I was staying with my 3 kids & being pregnant and I heard a huge pop. My front tire popped. I called the company and Piper said to leave it where it was. I did so and had another family member pick me & my kids up. After going to the beach all day and coming back (about 6 hours). It was still on the side of the road with no assistance, no follow up call from the company. So I called, again Piper said she would call the maintenance guy & see where he was. I never heard back from her but Aaron showed up about 1 hour later. He did fix the 2 tires and said that he would contact the owner about handling a prorated amount since I lost an entire day of using our golf cart. Again no follow up from the owner or anyone in the office. So I and my husband called the next day to follow up and also let them know that the front axle seemed to be very shakey and unsteady. About 3 hours later they did come pick up our golf cart & swapped it for another golf cart. That golf cart couldn't even keep up with the others in our home. We called to let them know and it seems like no one in the company cares. I never received any refund for anything and I would never recommend them...
