Corolla Seafood Buffet — Restaurant in Corolla

Tried the Corolla Seafood buffet one night during our vacation and liked it so much we went back the next night. Staff is great. Several folks checked on us to make sure we had what we needed, refilled drinks, and cleared plates. It’s all-you-can-eat and there is a ton of food options. Seafood is obviously the highlight but the buffet includes fried chicken, spaghetti/meatballs, awesome macaroni & cheese, salad bar, additional cold salads like chicken salad, ribs, brisket, delicious scalloped potatoes, green beans, various steamed vegetables, fruit salad, & about 20 other items. Many choices & something for everyone. 2 soups, several desserts, & a soft serve ice cream machine are all part of the buffet.

It’s wonderful to have a great option for seafood in Corolla. A buffet is tough to open during a pandemic yet precautions are there & we felt safe. You must wear a mask when out of your seat, use sanitizer, and apply new gloves each time you are approaching the buffet. Everyone easy complied. A buffet is something visitors have asked about for years. The owner saw a need for a seafood buffet in the northern beaches as many requests have come in for one and the closest one is a long drive from Corolla.

Corolla Seafood Buffet is centrally located in Corolla, right next to the Food Lion grocery store. If there is something you recommend to add to the buffet or something you didn’t like, give that feedback. This is a new business and the owner is trying to make this restaurant what visitors have asked for. Was looking forward to some quality seafood. Was so disappointed. First floor was so slippery I fell, staff could careless. When my husband said something to the waitress it could be dangerous we have elderly with us. Waitresses responded we are doing the best we can. When we said we were worried about safety she responded with you have a blessed heart. (Those not from the south it is polite way to say she is indifferent) waitress was rude and did not care because there was a 18% gratuity auto added for group over 6. The food what there was of it was ok. There was a sign stateing 3% off if paying with cash. When we asked about it waitress was said she took it off the bill. When I asked her abour getting the 3% back from what I paid. The waitress responded rudely and disrespectfully that it was only thirty cents. The discount was $2.68. This buffet is a little place in Corolla that is so much better than those bigger buffets. Price is a few bucks cheaper than the bigger places, but with big dollar flavor. Crab is cooked with that perfect slightly salty, sweet crab flavor! Food is a good variety and all had a made with love flavor. They had local fish on the buffet and thought that was neat to try. Service was great and buffet was always stocked!

For those that have had a bariatric surgery, this place honored my dietary card so I was able to enjoy this place with my family! Those who know, know how awesome that is!
