I had a very upsetting and humiliating experience at this DD’s Discounts location. I walked in with a few items I had previously purchased and no longer had the receipt for. I placed them at the bottom of my bag and decided to look around the store first to see if there was anything else I wanted to buy — I didn’t find anything, so I went to the register to ask about a return or exchange. I took the items out at the register to be completely transparent, but instead of listening, the store manager, Natasha, immediately accused me of stealing. She claimed the items “weren’t in the bag” when I came in — even though I pulled them out myself in front of her. She also insulted me, saying I had a “bad attitude” and called me “nasty,” which was completely untrue and deeply disrespectful. I felt embarrassed, disrespected, and judged unfairly. I understand stores need to be cautious about theft, but there’s no excuse for treating customers this way — especially when they’re being honest. I truly hope this location improves its customer service and trains staff to handle these situations with more professionalism and...
Read moreSo I just went to a few places to look for some curtains that I can not find. It never occurred to me to call before going because I just would like to find some curtains like the ones I’m looking for, so I called DD’s Discount to see if they could tell me if they carried these kinds of curtains and I got put on hold for about 3 mins and the lady said someone who be on the phone shortly to assist me in that department. Then someone answers who happens to be Jose a “manager” tells me that they can’t tell me over the phone I would have to come in store. So the 4 mins he stood on the phone with me telling me he couldn’t do that he could have gone and checked for me. Wow some people just don’t know the price of time, which is PRICELESS!!! Jose needs more training with his quite, ummm, idk management skills....
Read moreI find it very inconvenient when stores sell bulk items but wont allow you to take your shopping cart to the car. I pulled my car forward to be told I couldn't park in the red zone, when they knew I had to load my car with baskets, comforters and other items that would have taken at least four trips to the car. Meanwhile there are several people at the door welcoming you to DiDi's but no one able to help you to your car. They stand around looking lost, until one person stepped up and assisted me.
They rush you through the line and dont automatically offer a bag. I had no idea I needed to ask and the cashier wasn't diligent enough to ensure that all of my purchases were loaded into my cart. I had to walk back to the register twice.
I frequent DiDi'd Discount Stores often, I will never return...
