Having a pretty good experience so far, the manager was cool and didn't give me a hard time with the membership sign-up (I didn't feel like i was dealing with a car salesman). I took advantage of my personal training session with leilani, and it was great; she really seemed to know her stuff. Very savvy saleswoman, but if it was in my budget i would hire her without question. I don't feel awkward since everyone is just focused on doing their own thing. I stay out of the locker room and the water, so not much to say about all that. I like that i can usually snag an empty racquetball court to do some handstands, squats etc. with all those machines there's hardly any floor space. Couple things i don't care for, it's always crowded (eh oh well) and it seems sort of grimy; almost no one brings towels or cleans up after themselves. (I think some gloves would solve that issue though.) I feel that i can't ask the staff for help, I'm worried they will pressure me to hire a trainer. Overall I'm glad i got...

I started my membership at the Corona LA fitness in January 2020 and had only used the membership until the shutdown in February/March. After that, I did not attend or use the membership all of 2020 or so far in 2021.
I noticed my credit card that I just paid off had charges for 2021 and I ended up looking into any previous charges.
Iāve been charged almost $400 in small random charges all of 2020 and 2021 even after I put my membership on pause.
Iām so upset that this company has sent random emails like āoh hey, weāre open for a weekā and then charge $10, $20, $30 ea time per member Iām assuming.
Love how LA fitness charged its members for services they did not receive so that the company could help themselves financially during a pandemic when people are facing evictions an so on. Itās pathetic.
