We are moving into the area soon from Irvine and as always were searching for some places to eat especially Thai food restaurants since my wife and I love Thai food . As always we went on Yelp to look for places with high rating but believe me high rating on Yelp does not guarantee t you will like the food especially Thai food since almost all Thai restaurants cater to local flavors and it is very hard to find the place that serves authentic , fresh and tasty Thai food . Quick tip when you look for Thai food just check their pictures and if you know how the real Thai food looks do not hesitate trying it . Seven Seas Thai Restaurant is not located very close to our new house but it has high rating with some nice looking pictures so we decided to try it out when we were around the area . First time we ordered Tom Yum Koong , Chicken Larb , Thai BBQ chicken , their seafood salad , sticky rice with thai teas . Yes I know it is a lot of food for 2 but we were starving . The best part is that you can order a Roti dessert which is very common dessert in Thailand in street markets . Tom Yum koong tasted more for local customers it was not tasting authentic but the shrimps were large and fresh , chicken larb is the best all of and till this time every time we are ordering it . Also their seafood salad and house tom yum noodle soup is good . Overall me and my wife like this restaurant and will be back mot only the service is great always smiling servers and always going extra step to make you happy but also the prices are very acceptable comparing to Irvine restaurants you can get everything almost half...
Read moreThis is our first visit to this place. We took a chance based off yelp and google reviews. Also, it was the only Thai restaurant open until 10pm. We came here famished after mountain biking in the Skyline trails.
Place was clean and spacious and all the staff were friendly. Our meals were cooked fresh and served pretty fast from the time we ordered. Or maybe because we were the last customers for the night and the kitchen was about to close 😊.
You can tell if a Thai restaurant has good authentic Thai food if they can prepare the basics right: Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Thai fried rice. I usually favor the savory Pad See Eww over the sweet Pad Thai. Pad see Ew was spot on. The Spicy Fried rice was perfectly balanced and seasoned. It was not too spicy where you can no longer taste the flavors. The rice was chewy and not soggy or oily. Paired that with the Chicken Larb, and it was a great melding of flavors. Angel wings were crispy and flavorful and went well with the sweet and sour sauce that came with it. My husband and I ordered too much food but we did not mind as we were more than willing to take the left overs to go for the next day’s meal.
We ended our meal perfectly with the mango sticky rice. Good thing we saved some space for that divine dessert. It was a perfect ending to a very...
Read moreDelicious Thai food for being in corona, I’ve definitely had better but since it’s local here by my sisters house it will do. The atmosphere and cleanliness made me rate it 4 stars, food is 3 stars for suure, but since it’s fancy looking on the inside and great to take the family or date hence the 4 stars. Don’t come expecting the BEST Thai food you’ve ever had, cause it’s definitely not. It’s better than a couple other places here in corona so if you’re in THIS area I’d say check em out.
