1st Their inventory is always fresh and plentiful. The shelves are neat and organized, and items are all clean, in working condition, and clearly priced.

2nd They are reasonable and fair. You don't walk out feeling as though you've just been robbed in fact you usually leave feeling like you couldn't have gotten a better deal.

And last but arguably the most important: THE STAFF. Every pawn shop doing business today should take notes. I don't know if it's their hiring practices, their leadership, their training, their pay, I have no idea, but these guys are doing it right! Always friendly, always helpful, greet you with enthusiasm everytime you walk in. They remember you after just 1 or 2 visits, and you feel comfortable doing business with every single one of them. You won't run into the typical arrogant, rude, lazy employee here. I imagine those folks dont even make it through 5 minutes of the first interview. The environment is warm and you get the sense that these guys really enjoy what they do. Its clear that this business is built on a strong set of principles and operates consistently from a place of integrity.

Texas Cash Pawn is my go to spot, and not because I like parting with my money — it’s because the people there actually treat you like a human. Not a number, not a transaction, and definitely not like you’re walking in with a ski mask.

I’ve dealt with loans and firearms, and every time it’s the same story: respect, straight answers, and no high-pressure nonsense. That’s rare in any business, let alone a pawn shop.

Misty, Megan, Jessica, and Alyssa deserve a shoutout. They’re sharp, patient, and genuinely helpful — no fake customer service voice, no attitude, just real people.

If I could rate this business zero stars, I would called up the establishment earlier today and spoke with the gentleman working there and was quoted a price that they were paying per penny weight for gold. I go into the location to sell my scrap gold and the lady offers me a very lowball offer for my gold when I was quoted $40 a pennyweight over the phone and I asked the employee why the offer was so low and she said that’s what we can pay because your items are junk, and I had replied back saying that I was quoted $40 over the phone per penny wait for gold and she says that’s just for ponds that doesn’t apply to just selling it out right Very disgusted very rude employee would not do business...
