Over twenty-five years ago, my husband and I completely refurnished our master bedroom with Ethan Allen furniture pieces and accessories that look as beautiful and are as functional today as when they were placed in our home by an outstanding delivery team. We still receive compliments on our stunning bow-front dressers, ceiling high bookcases, bed-frame and nightstands. Since that first purchase, we have completely redone our dining room and upstairs family-guest room with timeless, multi-functional Ethan Allen furniture. All the while, the quality, assistance, and attention to detail has remained constant. More recently, following a remodel, we turned to Ethan Allen to purchase our Hunter Douglas automatic window blinds for our kitchen, family, dining and living rooms. Our design consultant, Cynthia Brunn, was amazing and beyond helpful, guiding us throughout the entire process. The windows in our home present many challenges because each one is different, three pairs of corner windows abut each other, and our ceiling heights change dramatically over these pairs. Cynthia graciously provided constant and ongoing support throughout the entire process. She never abandoned us and made several extra visits to our home to reposition and work with the Hunter Douglas installers. On one occasion, Cynthia even brought along an Ethan Allen window design expert to make sure everything was perfect AND that we were pleased with the outcome! We are and we love our blinds! When we were looking for living room furniture, we visited Ethan Allen because of their quality of product. From the time we first met Brian Combs he greeted us warmly with no pressure, but offered his services even if it was just a question. Brian worked with my husband and I with professionalism and respect for each of our ideas of what we were trying to create. Brian listened, brought ideas forward and created a palette for our upholstery, pillows and window seat covers that were beautiful and exactly what we were looking for! He has an excellent eye for colors that blend and coordinate along with style of furniture to create a room that looks like it came out of a magazine! I can't tell you how many friends and family who have come to our home and said that very comment. Our room is warm, inviting, tranquil. We love it! Brian's customer service is outstanding! He was in regular communication with us with our order. The entire transaction went smoothly. When there was a question about our chair selections, he conferred with his colleagues for their opinions to help us decide on style selection. For reasons far too complicated to get into, I was having some difficulty placing an order for a beautiful Ethan Allen bed for my son. It was Saturday afternoon, and I learned it was too late in the day to call the Ethan Allen customer service line. In my desperation I thought “I’ll call a store on the West Coast; they’re still open!” I googled the San Francisco ZIP Code and plugged it in for a store location. From the very start, with the gentleman who answered the phone (who could not have been kinder and more understanding about my problem), to eventually being matched up with designer Erika Miller, to the wonderful back up support by the store manager Lara Richmond, I was treated professionally and with great understanding and care. I am indebted to these three employees for fixing a problem and allowing me to accomplish my task that day. Erika, thank you so much for your generosity of time and attention that day. I was told your store was insanely busy that day and you managed to find the time and graciousness to help me from 3000 miles away. You are amazing!
