Great spices available. Only tiendita in cortez. This place has a selection of meats. Also variety of items off a menu to eat. Variety of groceries available. Beer is sold here as well as other non alcoholic drinks. Great customer service. Thank you! Definitely returning.

Wow, just excellent food. Had 6 tamales and a chicken quesadilla, both were delicious. The salsa Verde was extremely tasty. The woman serving was also very nice. Go here and eat almost anything, it'll be delicious and affordable.

Dropped in for a visit on our way out of Mesa Verde because I needed to stock up on supplies. I feel like the prices were a little on the high side, $20 for a dozen tamales. However they offer individual Tamales for $2. I purchased 3 chilie and cheese, which were very good and a pound of carnitas. The carnitas were also very good. I would order both again. The homemade tortillas were a nice treat as well. The Salsa was homemade and not hot. Over all this place is very clean inside and worth the trip. A little gem in Cortez, Colorado! Our town is inundated with Mexican food. We wanted a grab and go burrito before we headed out on our road trip. Esmeraldas was on our route and we tried it. Not only is it a sweet grocery store, they offer counter service with homemade food! The menu is small but it's all right in front of you and our burritos were delicious!!! Try...

"Fantabulous!" --my 9 year-old

Stopped by on our trip to Mesa Verde. It was 6:30, and I hadn't realized they closed at 6. They said they were all closed up, but we could get some tamales. Oh boy! What a godsend these kind folks were...not only did they let us buy a half-dozen tamales after closing, but they were amazing!

10/10 will stop here again next time we...
