We ate here one evening and everything was perfect—the food was good and plentiful.

The second night, we sat down and the waiter arrived after three minutes, apologizing for the delay. We had no idea what delay he was talking about; by our standards, he was actually quite fast. We ordered two variations, exactly like the first night: a first course without beans and a second course with chicken instead of beef.

They brought us the dish WITH beans and the second one with beef. We didn't say anything because we hate to waste food.

After dinner, the waiter brought us an ice cream to apologize for the "delay," which, in our opinion, didn't happen. It was clear the actual problem was the beans, which I had left on the side of the plate, completely visible. I didn't want the ice cream, but I ate it so as not to be rude (ice cream with CORNFLAKES for Italians, seriously?!). They could have at least asked us what kind of ice cream we wanted before bringing it, especially since my partner is intolerant and couldn't eat it.

Apologies, Mr. Waiter, for the small tip, but that's the reason.

Anyway, you should eat here, food is good and they are nice!...

I would give it a 0 of I could!! First, I left a tip and went to pay for my two meals. I gave the waitress 50 and she said she only had 4 dollars, and looked at me like "what do you want me to do" I was so angry with the meal I just took the four dollar, she ended up with pretty much a $10 tip. We are from New Mexico and have tasted, New Mexican, Mexican, Spanish, and Nav-ican food, this does not come close to anything I have ever came experienced and not in a good way either! First the rice is seems to be frozen, the peas, are shriveled and don't belong in the rice neither does the carrots, I'll give corn can be. The beans have to be canned they smell like canned beans, I have cooked them in my own home when I need a quick meal. But when I go to a restaurant canned beans with Manteca added is not acceptable. Then both the super burrito and the asada burrito had green beans no joke, not green chili green beans. The 'red chilli' is canned enchilada sauce. The guac had bell peppers and celantro, to each their own but I wouldn't call it guacamole. The taco had fast food quality beef. Truly disappointing!!!I could...

The food was really good and the coconut margaritas were wonderful.

However, if not for the bus boy, Obed, we would have sat there with nothing to drink and no salsa and no tortillas for the fajitas.

Izabel, the woman who was supposed to be our waitress, just dropped our food off and ran. We didn't have a chance to ask if we weren't supposed to get tortillas with the fajitas which should have come with the dinner.

She didn't ask if everything was OK or if we needed anything. Obed came over to give us water and we asked him about the tortillas. He went to the kitchen and brought them out, along with more iced tea, chips, salsa, and ketchup for the little guys who has some fries.

Without all of Obed's help it would have been a really miserable experience. It was really nice because of him. He saw that our waitress wasn't serving us and was quick to hop in.

Izabel showed up again just to drop off the check. We saw Obed before we left and and gave him a big tip, which he tried to refuse, but...

When you walk into this restaurant you are immediately transported to a small little Mexican village except it had AC. The additions of the small Mexican vignette hid the once former skeleton of another restaurant that stood before. The foliage clings to the atmosphere and if you don't pay too close attention to the fake birds hanging from the ceiling you'd think you were hearing them singing in the background. The hostess seated us with an authentic smile and ended up being our waitress. I had previously read the reviews and ordered the coconut margarita which was as it sounds, coconut. Very good, but my fiancée had the fiesta margarita which was just as good. The chips and salsa wasn't the best I've had, but I am NEVER one to turn down chips and salsa. I didn't even mind the additional charge for one more round. I ordered the burrito Mexicano and it arrived about as fast as it was ordered, and gone just as fast as it hit the table. Everything was quick and delicious. Highly recommended.

We had 3 amazing dinners at Fiesta Mexicana over a 3 night span. The ingredients were so fresh and the preparation excellent so we kept going back for more. We asked to sit in the bar all three nights because of Edwardo, the man behind the bar. He is so clever and fun and he and his staff were so attentive - they really made us feel like very special customers. Now about the margaritas - we tried margaritas at several different Cortez restaurants but the Fiesta Margarita at Fiesta Mexicana is the best in all of Cortez. Then we were served a coconut margarita - I can only say that it is a perfect dessert although the flan is also an equally fantastic choice.
