Judged by our appearance. Racists. AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. JUST BUY ONLINE OR GO TO THE BEVERLY HILLS LOCATION! I complained to tiffanys official customer service on the phone, they were very apologetic and promised to speak to them on a whole different level. Tiffany customer service on the phone helped me with what i needed.
Weve been tiffany customers spending over 30,000’s of dollars since 2018. First time i had a problem was with this specific location. My wifes engagement rings are from tiffany as well (different location) Here we purchased a 1500 dollar bracelet. And after purchasing my wife was encouraged to wear it out so she did just to the parking lot. Was in the box after that. The associate was a middle eastern/ or indian middle aged lady. After 2 weeks my wife noticed the bracelet tarnishing in the box. So she was disappointed since she never even got to wear it out yet it was turning brown in between the links inside the box- so we assumed this style has been in the store for quite awhile before sold to us. Disappointed, My wife wanted to exchange this or return it for something BETTER. We planned on purchasing two more bracelets so we went in the store with kids in a wagon. Im dressed in a tank and my wife is pregnant so of course regardless of money were dressed comfortably. Since we didnt want to carry more bags on our way in my wife put on the bracelet from parking lot to store which is literally a 2 minute walk. Her second time wearing the bracelet. Minute we get in the same sales associate- middle aged indian or middle eastern lady greeted us. But before my wife could even explain the situation thoroughly she said worn pieces cant be returned and said shed talk to her manager. They didnt even LOOK AT THE BRACELET. they didnt even TRY to help. She came back and said no. Pretty flabbergasted and shocked standing there with 3 kids, my wife just said “wow okay i guess ill go clean my jewelry since im here” (she was wearing 7 pieces from beverly hills tiffany’s) At the cleaning area my wife talked to rhiti who was so kind to her when my wife explained the entire situation so rhiti called the manager for her. The manager andrew came and when explained that it was only worn out the store when that sales associated ENCOURAGED IT, and back in ONLY due to the amount of bags were carrying. He said nope. Its worn. Nothing we can do but offer cleaning or resizing. We go to tiffanys in santa monica and beverly hills all the time and even with a broken elsa peretti ring they gave us better customer service than this. Andrew basically said “its silver theyre all going to tarnish did they explain to you about cleaning your own jewelry” the jewelry did not tarnish from wear, but rather in the box therefore we were going to purchase something better. Terrible customer service even macys has better customer service than this. Shame to say this is a Tiffany’s honestly. After When my wife asked to try on different silver bracelets another associate let her try it on then after taking it off QUICKLY left as if were not going to buy anything when she wanted to try on the gold T&co band ring with diamond. We were just standing there like.. wow.. okay. So were like yea.. nope you just lost a customer 100%. Never felt so humiliated and looked down upon in our lives. Youd expect this from anywhere else but Tiffany’s. We are paying for superior customer service. What we got was less than customer service from JC Penny. I honestly felt like etsy gives better customer service than this. At etsy when we complain of tarnishing they issue us a full refund. At macys even when my wife wore something they accepted the return. This was a total low class mall vendor experience. NEVER coming here again. My wife was so infuriated she vowed to never purchase another tiffany’s again so we actually went to Cartier instead.
She called Tiffany’s and they are helping her directly now, told her they SHOULD NEVER HAVE DONE THAT. Even if it was worn. My wife even asked about their policy 1st.But this store leaves a bad...
Read moreMy fiance and I have been return customers of various Tiffany’s in the US and it is unfortunate that this branch, the one which is local to us, is the worst in terms of customer experience, SA quality, and overall ambience. I’ve felt this for a while but it was always little things (I.e the SA recommending the wrong size ring such that I can’t wear the ring because every time I wash my hands the ring literally falls off my finger - she told me that because it was a chain type delicate ring, I needed to get size 6 when I am usually a size 3.75-4) - this past weekend made me realize that I definitely will avoid this branch if we can help it. The SAs are just not kind, not helpful, and do not exemplify the “lifetime of service” and boutique experience that is suppose to be delivered at Tiffany’s.
We visited Tiffany’s the weekend before we would get married in hopes of getting my ring cleaned and a new ring box for our flat lay pictures. Since we had the ring box for 2+ years, unfortunately it got little scruffs/marks from being carried around. When we entered the store, no SA came to greet us and we had to walk around awkwardly until someone asked if we needed help. I said we were getting married next week, and was hoping to get my ring cleaned and a new box. She looked at us like we were dumb and told us we needed to go client services and quickly ushered us into a seating area. There were a few groups waiting around but it didn’t take too long for a SA (middle age Persian lady) to call us up (didn’t shake our hands, didn’t introduce herself, barely got up out of her chair herself to get us). When we sat down, I explained that we were getting married and I was hoping to get my ring cleaned and get a new ring box for our photos since our current one had little ink stains on it. She quickly said “oh we don’t give out new ring boxes”. To which then I asked ok, can I please buy one then? Because it’s for our wedding and our current one looks so scrappy. She was like “oh we don’t sell them either”. I was getting a little irritated because the first part wasn’t even true (I’ve gotten a ring box before from another ring cleaning - I didn’t ask for it, they just gave me back my ring in a box) and this was for my freaking wedding…so I sort of bluntly asked: “so we can’t get a ring box even when we spent $26,000 on a ring here? I can’t get one and I can’t buy one so there is no recourse here? I just have to have an ugly ring box?” At this point she was like ok well I can ask my manager. I said please do, we would appreciate it. And she took my ring and left.
My ring came back pretty fast for a cleaning…not sure if they did a complete job to be honest as I’ve never had it be so fast before. She did end up bringing a new box for me but the experience was further marred by her telling me that “they can’t just keep giving out ring boxes”. Umm…this is the first time I’ve ever asked for one and it’s for my wedding…but I just smiled and said thank you very much and left with my fiancé. No one said congrats to us for our upcoming wedding. I never would have thought Tiffany’s would be so stingy - like we spent thousands on a heavily marked up diamond for an elevated service that is suppose to come with that price…what a joke. And when my fiancé bought the ring, we were told we could get the box embossed for free, we could decide later if we didn’t want to do it then, other perks such as changing out the band anytime for free…I cannot imagine any of these promises being a possibility at this Tiffany’s store when it was such a pain to get what is essentially new metal box. Gave 2 stars because they actually did give us the new metal tin, with...
Read moreEDIT: we went to our usual beverly hills tiffany’s after this ordeal here, and They looked at my bracelet and NO questions asked gave me a full return. The manager helped us. So i was so thankful after this bad experience at south coast tiffany’s as explained below, that i bought 3 more pieces at the Beverly hills location that i wasnt planning on! SO READ THIS REVIEW: TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. GO TO THE MANY DIFFERENT LOCATIONS INSTEAD. YOU ARE STUCK WITH WHAT YOU BOUGHT EVEN IF ITS ONLY BEEN A WEEK. DIFFICULT TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE ANYTHING HERE. EVEN WHEN UNWORN. They judge you thinking its worn when it never was! Oh and it was for an UPGRADE, (exchange) not even just a return. Like they wouldve gotten more money. Not anymore.
my family could purchase this location if they wanted. Honestly thats how pissed i am. So after owning over a couple dozen gold and over half a dozen silver pieces from Tiffany’s. Even my solitaire rings and wedding band are Tiffany’s. But its safe to say due to the TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE here, Ive switched to a different luxury brand that treats me better! If you really want a tiffany’s call the customer service line which is not related to this location AT ALL and buy online! They actually help. Honestly they should hire people that knows how to work at a luxury brand. You know the one Tiffany’s website and in general boasts about. Im leaving reviews everywhere else like everyone else here too. They should change their management and hire new people and actually train them correctly. Bloomingdales and even Nordstrom rack treat you much better than this. What a shame.. i wonder if bernard arnault knows that his “2nd most busiest store aside from the flagship store in newyork” is the WORST. If youre set on going here.. dont say i or all the bad reviews here didnt warn you. Just scroll to read everyones similar experience.
Other locations do not have bad reviews like here. Check yourself. Im on my way to beverly hills now to a different brand. Customer service is WORTH the drive. Dont just go to your closest store. Youll be treated like youre at a butcher shop. They are so butch! Read the reviews first. I regret i didnt. But now i know. Not wasting my...
